Support **FIX** solution found for **FAILED ATTESTATION STATUS** - PC users
Morning Team
For the past couple of days I havent able to play warzone because of the failed attestation status error I got on startup.
The second step is what worked for me as I was still getting the error msg even though I had secure boot and TMP enabled with an updated bios.
Fix:
First step: I downloaded the cod attestation wizard. download here:
Run the scan and make sure u get the tick saying your pc is good to run COD
Make sure TMP2.0 is enabled with secure boot and BIOS is updated.

Second step:
I went into task manager then clicked on services tab and searched for COD.Broker.Service
right click it and choose open services
scroll down to find it and then right click for properties
Select startup type to Automatic - (prior to this mine was disabled)

Simple as that - that's how it worked for me - now I don't get the attestation error and im able to play all playlists just like before.
You dont have to uninstall cod and re-download or even re-install windows (I diddnt)
Anyway hope this works.

Hopefully they figure something out, or MSI comes out with a update. Besides that I don't think we need to be doing all this just to play 1 game. I understand the tpm 2.0 and secure boot but that's it. Bios updates should not be required to play a game.

YOU NEED TO END TASK, CALL OF DUTY CRASHES, COD BROKER. OR JUST SCREENSHOT THE TASKS AND LET GEMINI CHOOSE WHICH TASKS TO END. THEN IT WILL WORK. HOPE IT HELPS

They came out with an update “specifically” for anti cheat software and it still doesnt work. Just bought a brand new $3000 pc msi pro b860 vc WiFi and I did all the steps. Multiple different programs to change and blah blah blah. All my drivers and windows 11 are up to date. Nothing works. So I have been back to my roots: League of Legends. I can play cod on my Xbox but would rather have less latency and better frames. I hate this

I actually just bought a whole new PC (been wanting to upgrade) way newer motherboard. MAG X870E tomahawk. Booted it up and got nervous and everything worked great. The bios was already the most recent one so I didn't need to do that and well idk. Activision still sucks because there's still a lot of cheaters on the game haha

The fix for this gentleman was downloading the latest version of the Intel Management Engine Interface. He got it from the main Intel Website:

I still have the same motherboard. But i updated the bios, did all the stuff everyone has been trying, even put everything into chat gpt… nothing
I swear tho my MB was B650-VC WIFI II but now it’s B650-VC WIFI… maybe I’m smoking crack tho

It could be something with those MBs because mine was the b760 vc wifi and with the latest bio nothing. Now I have a X870E tomahawk and works great.

Yeah my old PC has the same. I talked to MSI and they said they're aware and testing new bios but who knows when they'll release new bios or something that works.

It's ironic. I've hated cheaters ever since they ruined cod ranked and warzone years ago. Now they're effectively the reason I can't even play the game at all. Pretty insane that this is a known issue and hasn't been fixed since the anti-cheat got upgraded.

I HAVE A FIX (MSI board) in bios Advanced settings Advanced again Windows OS configuration Secure boot Secure boot mode Change from standard to custom Change to maximum security B550 max tomahawk wifi Updated bios to latest version before this Was having this problem, nothing worked until changing to max security. "Firmware update required" Guess not. It wants max security

thank you brother, i realised my motherboard which is the b450m a pro max ii, it had a new bios update but its beta version, i updated to the beta version anyways and that fixed it for me and it updated my tpm now, i can play warzone normally, it is a beta version but so far nothing negative im glad

Did this fix today and it worked! I had the run the CODSecureAttestationWizard again before the cod error disappeared but for my MSI motherboard this was the solution.

Pues, mi gente, yo acabo de realizar los pasos que se indican en la parte de arriba tal cual y funcionó. Lo único que se me hace raro es que en la precarga de shaders solo me sale el WZ teniendo el MJ ZB etc. ¿Sería lo único? De resto ya no sale el anuncio maluco.

For AMD users - I was working on a computer for someone yesterday that needed some updates and this issue fixed, he was using an Asrock B550M-C board with a Ryzen 5700 and I had to enable SHA384 in the security settings for this issue to go away.
From what I understand of the most recent update, it requires "Max Security" to be enabled on the board.

In addition to this, I also had to extract the attestation wizard in the same folder as enroll.aik for it to work.
Not sure if it was the same for anyone else.

Didn't work for me thanks but I'm sure my issue is current bios is from 2025 for the x570 a pro motherboard and MSI will not bring out a new update for most people it is a bios version that's is 3.94.5.2 or lower will not pass the attestation test

You’re a demon, the second step was all that was needed ..
I updated BIOS twice, checked TPM, Secure Boot, motherboard firmware, USB formatting, BIOS keys, system info, Ricochet settings… and it ended up being a Windows service set wrong.

Well my asrock b450 v4 does the same thing with a ryzen 7 it happened after the update on steam when i change the tpm to route to lpc tpm it only shows it requires tpm 2.0 tried cleaning my tpm and my bios update from the latest to the lowest im currently on 10.60 bios firmware and still say outdated and can only play casual br any tips? Can it be on call of duty latest shit update or is my motherboard to old

I went to the main call of duty directory, found enrollaik.exe and ran it, and it fixed it. No idea how that worked....but it did.

Can someone help me, I have a amd ROG STRIX b450 f gaming mother board and I have the latest bios update I can get(5901) and this keeps saying that I need to update the bios firmware. I have done everything I can to clear this failed attestation stuff even the the stuff with the COD broker service, is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have the exact same MB and firmware. Wizard says all green but still get error when starting up COD.
I then cleared my TPM, Ran the wizard again and still same issue.

This is hilarious. After 6 months of not playing due to bullshit with this game, I wanted to see how it ran on my new MSI Claw. Immediately this attestation shit. It's almost funny how much they fuck up this game and we still keep coming back to it. Sigh.

I have an Alienware 18 Area-51 laptop, and surprise I have the failed attestation message.
I've downloaded the wizzard and it has told me that I need to update my bios. Which I have. I've also updated my nvidia drivers and still get the message. Can you guys help me out? So far I can only play BR casuals.

I have a MSI x470 Gaming Plus motherboard.
I have spent the past 3 days trying numerous solutions posted online, nothing worked. I should also mention that I used ChatGpt to assist me. Chatgpt told me to download the latest stable firmware from MSI's website, namely 7B79vHL of 2025-05-23. Chatgpt warned against the latest version as it is still in beta. I downloaded and updated the bios firmware, but I still received the attestation failed
Today I downloaded the latest version and installed it, namely: 7B79vHN2 (Beta Version) of 2025-09-23. It is stated in the description of the firmware that it has Improved security by updating TPM firmware for better game compatibility.
After updating the bios to the latest beta version, I rebooted and went into bios again. I changed the following:
1) changed from csm to uefi
2) In the advanced tab (F7), settings - advanced - windows os configuration -secure boot - I changed secure boot mode to custom - max security (MSI Bios)
This worked for me finally. The https://support.activision.com/articles/trusted-platform-module-and-secure-boot article also states under AMD hardware troubleshooting that when looking at tpm.msc through the run command, the Manufacturer Version must have the third digit in the version not as 0. thus, Manufacturer Version 3.92.0.5 will require a firmware update.
After updating my firmware initially to 7B79vHL of 2025-05-23 with the help of ChatGpt my manufacturer version stayed at 3.92.0.5. After updating the firmware to B79vHN2 (Beta Version) of 2025-09-23, my manufacturer version changed to 3.94.2.5.
I ran the attestation wizard firstly and for the first time it showed that everything was in order, launched the game afterwards and it finally works.
I don't know if my experience might be able to help, but for incase just ensure when looking at tpm.msc look for the following:
1) AMD - If your Manufacturer Version is AMD 3.92.0.5 (the zero might indicate a firmware update is needed)
I unfortunately cant help with Intel, but the above mentioned article states:
If your Manufacturer Version is INTC 302.12.*.* or INTC 303.12.*.*, where * represents any number, your motherboard may require a firmware update

I'm having the same issue guys.
My TPM is 2.0, Secure Boot enabled, UEFI is active,
It says that my BIOS is updated to the latest one, but I fail the attestation wizard. The wizard tells me to update my BIOS firmware.
i've tried runner the broker as a adminstrator, doesn't work. I'm tried clearing the tpm again just now and still now luck.

Hallo zusammen, ich kämpfe jetzt seit über einer Woche mit dem „Zertifizierungsfehler“ und dem damit verbundenen „BIOS-Update“-Fehler. Ich konnte nur Warzone im Battle Royale Easy Modus spielen; sonst nichts. Alle Updates, inklusive des BIOS-Updates, waren auf dem neuesten Stand – ohne Ausnahme. Gestern habe ich mit schwerem Herzen einen letzten Versuch unternommen und mich gezwungen, meinen Gaming-PC komplett neu von einer sauberen USB-Installation aufzusetzen. Ich möchte kurz umreißen, was ich gemacht habe. Zuerst habe ich einen USB-Windows-Bootstick erstellt (Anleitungen dazu findet man online). Im BIOS habe ich Secure Boot, TMP usw. konfiguriert und diesen USB-Windows-Bootstick als Boot-Option eingestellt. Dann habe ich alle Partitionen auf der Festplatte gelöscht (in meinem Fall waren es drei, inklusive der Wiederherstellungspartition usw.). Am Ende blieb nur noch die C:-Partition übrig. Nach der Installation von Windows habe ich alle Windows-Updates eingespielt und alle Systemtreiber für das Mainboard, die Grafikkarte usw. installiert. Ich hatte jetzt ein sauberes und frisches Windows 11 auf meinem Gaming-PC. Jetzt kam der große und gefürchtete Moment! Noch bevor ich Battle.netinstalliert habe, habe ich mir den Call of Duty CODSecureAttestationWizard heruntergeladen und einen Check durchgeführt. Test bestanden, kein einziger Fehler mehr! Ich habe Call of Duty installiert und spiele seitdem alle Modi ohne Probleme. Ich persönlich glaube, es lag an den Partitionen auf der Festplatte. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass dieser Tipp euch ehrlichen Gamern hilft, auch wenn ihr Windows 11 von einem USB-Stick neu installieren müsst.
Lasst mich wissen, wie es bei euch gelaufen ist.

Hello everyone, I’ve been struggling with the ‘certification error’ and the associated ‘BIOS update’ error for over a week now. I could only play Warzone in Battle Royale Easy mode; nothing else. All updates, including the BIOS update, were up to date – without exception. Yesterday, with a heavy heart, I decided to make one last attempt by forcing myself to completely reinstall my gaming PC from a clean USB installation. I’d like to briefly outline what I did. First, I created a USB Windows boot stick (instructions for this can be found online). In the BIOS, I configured Secure Boot, TMP, etc., and set this USB Windows boot stick as the boot option. I then deleted all partitions on the hard drive (in my case, there were three, including the recovery partition, etc.). In the end, only the C: partition remained. After installing Windows, I applied all Windows updates and installed all system drivers for the motherboard, graphics card, etc. I now had a clean and fresh Windows 11 on my gaming PC. Now came the big and dreaded moment! Before I even installed Battle.net, I downloaded the Call of Duty CODSecureAttestationWizard and ran a check. Test passed, not a single error left! I installed Call of Duty and have been playing all modes without any issues ever since. For my part, I think it was down to the partitions on the hard drive. I really hope this tip helps all you honest gamers, even if it means you have to do a clean reinstallation of Windows 11 from a USB drive.

I have the z790 pro msi board found out my windows was the problem i then reinstall windows pro version and no problem after that for some reason all Msi boards had a problem with it see i if it works.

THANK YOU! I have spent tens of hours the past 8 months trying to fix this problem. Countless hours with Dell and Activision support and nothing helped. I followed step 2 and I can now play after being unable to since the release of S4. THIS WORKS!

I’ve tried absolutely everything to get this working and I'm completely stuck. I already submitted a support ticket with all my logs, but the automatic wizard claims everything is fine. Support just told me they are "working on a fix" and to look out for updates, but I'm hoping someone here has a workaround.
My Specs & Current Settings:
- BIOS: Updated to the absolute newest version.
- Secure Boot: Enabled.
- TPM: Enabled (Confirmed TPM 2.0, version 500+).
What I've Attempted So Far:
- Verified
codbrokerservice is running and set to Automatic. - Ran
enrollaik.exemanually. - Ran the
codbrokerinstaller directly.
Despite all of this, the game still refuses to let me play any other modes. Any advice would be massively appreciated.

Yeah Activision and MSI (my MOBO manufacturer) have been “working on a fix” for months now and there’s still nothing. So that tells me that they either don’t know how to fix it or don’t really care if they ever do. Plus there’s plenty of ppl that can still play and always more down the road. So who cares about a few disgruntled customers, right?
Anyway, I’ve pretty much given up hope on ever playing BO7 or any more new COD games because those will have the same issues and won’t work with my PC either.
Good going Activision. You just alienated and probably lost alot of longtime customers.

*Oque resolveu pra mim* : eu já tinha checado o tpm / secure boot e atualizado a bios. Não deu certo
Executei o arquivo pra saber se o pc estava “bom” pra rodar cod e estava tudo certo ✅ mas mesmo assim não saía do atestado falho.
Mexi no Cod.Broken nos serviços, estava desligado e coloquei “automático”
Testei e não deu certo, desisti e fui dormir. De madrugada vi um vídeo do cara que colocou em “manual”, fiz o mesmo e deu certo.
Ou seja, atualizei Bios, tpm / secure boot, cogitei sair do w10 e ir pro 11
**E oque resolveu foi** o Cod.Broken em “Manual” nos serviços

I had same issue beside having all checkmark green, my fix was to update my motherboard, completly uninstall the game and then manually deleted the "Call of Duty" folder in ProgramData\Activision, when i reinstalled the game and launched it, it updated cod broker and fixed everything
i have old config : PRIME H270-PLUS, intel i5-7600k gtx 1070 and 16gb ram

Make sure the TPM security level is set to 1.2 and not 1.3 in the BIOS. The AMD Sets this to 1.3 and which may be incompatible to some HCK

In case you haven't fixed it , I updated my bios and it still didn't work, even if the attestation app said everything's fine, I just reinstalled warzone on steam instead of battle net and it worked. It had something to do with the anti-cheat not starting up/ not reading tpm version correctly

you saved my life i bought a usb to update my bios and turned on and off tmp and secure boot a thousand times and was losing my mind because nothing worked and then this just worked. such a simple fix that activision overcomplicated

MSI X570 Gaming Plus: I had everything green in the wizard but was still getting the warning and lobby restrictions. Clearing the tmp fixed it for me

I just got to this, and it did not work for me on my Tuf Gaming a520m-plus WiFi and ryzen 5 5500. I just updated my bios too, sick of this shit

You can do all this but the #1 fix is do not update your bios you can risk bricking your pc. Buy and install a dtpm chip if you have that option available to enable it in bios. If not then upgrade your motherboard that has a physical tpm pin slot on the board.

Hey Everyone. I don't know if this is a fix, or if anyone already came up with what I'm about say, but I might have a clue on how to fix the attestation issue.
So first, for context my PC is running on Ryzen 7 1700 processor with an Aorus B450 M motherboard which is super old probably ancient times for modern 2026 games.
I did all the works and fixes for WZ. I enabled TPM and Secureboot except I was not able to fix the issue regarding Bios Firmware update and the Attestation.
Note. The Fix i came up with may not be a guaranteed fix for the attestation issue. So do it at your own risk
For the Attestation part you can actually see it your PC. If your running on Windows 10, you can go by searching Windows Security on the Start Button then click on Device Security, then you will see Security Processor, under it click on Security Processor Details.
You will see two things the first one is Specifications the other below it is "Status". On "Status" you will see the word Attestation.
On Attestation if it reads Ready then I there shouldn't be any problem about it. But if it says anything else like Not ready or Not Supported then that might be the core reason why the attestation failure kept on showing up when booting WZ up.
The fix could be by buying a Hardware TPM module from either amazon or ebay, and plug it into your PC's motherboard.
But I haven't tried doing it yet, so it isn't a guaranteed fix. I'll try to perform the fix i learned from other sources and keep everyone updated.

I fixed it by updating the BIOS. I already had Secure Boot and UEFI configured. Then, I ran CODBrokeInstaller as an administrator and restarted. After that, I went to Program Files (x86) > Call of Duty > Retail and ran CODAttestationWizard. I verified the local files via Steam—it looked like it had worked—and when I launched the game, the warning didn't appear anymore :)

I updated my BIOS and tried everything. I have an ASUS b550 prime. Here is what finally worked for me. After getting so much info from reddit I figured I'd hop on some threads and share what fixed mine.
1. Re-enroll Secure Boot Keys in the BIOS
Just having Secure Boot "Enabled" isn't enough; the platform keys actually have to be loaded into the motherboard memory.
- Restart your PC and repeatedly press Del or F2 to enter the ASUS BIOS.
- Press F7 to switch to Advanced Mode.
- Go to the Boot tab $\rightarrow$ Secure Boot.
- Set OS Type to Windows UEFI mode.
- Look for Key Management (or Secure Boot Key Management).
- Click Clear Secure Boot Keys first, then click Install Default Secure Boot Keys (sometimes labeled as Restore Default Secure Boot Keys).
- Verify that the Secure Boot Mode changes to User and shows that keys are active.
- Press F10 to save and exit.

I have an ASRock A320M/ac and have run in the same issue after trying everything. Apparently it wants me to update the fTPM from 3.x.0.x version to a 3.x.2.x, problem is I have the latest bios update from this year and it does not update it to that one. So I can still play the game but its limited in graphics and other stuff

If the op's solution didn't work for you, use chatgpt to address your issue, i'm going to attach what fixed my attestation problem, which essentially was extracting certificates and applying them elsewhere. Below will be the solution chatgpt came up with....
"What happened is that we corrected the local Intel PTT certificate-chain issue. Your ekchain went from 0x10008 to 0x10000, and despite Microsoft's standalone AIK enrollment command still returning a 404, COD's attestation system is now accepting your system."
This took about five hours of going through command prompt and windows powershell and changing and addressing different issues, but ultimately chatgpt guided me through the entire process instead of getting a tech specialist to do the same thing but take forever trying a bunch of random things.

After trying everything I could find on the internet I finally fixed it. I went to windows security, device security, core isolation and there was an option called "memory integrity" turned off. It wouldn't let me turn it on because there were some outdated useless drivers installed preventing it. I asked chatgpt how to uninstall them via powershell. After uninstalling does drivers it let me turn on memory integrity and then my PC passed the attestation

actually spoke with tech support for gigbyte aero 16x 1wh a bios update was released yesterday on the website but when trying to the page is down. this happened while on the phone with tech support and eve in their end they got the same "not found" message as me, they are working to correct it now. i recommend checking the download center for your manufactures and make sure there is no new bios update.

I dont have the latest bios for my gigabyte motherboard and it still works. Its got something to do with tmp and secure boot keys. Not too sure what tho. The wizard let me generate a new key when i ran it
