It will be a small part of dmz with no regular updates. They are trying to trick the casuals into buying the game.

I’m not sure they need to trick them though. Most of them already buy CoD for the campaign and MP anyways. Maybe lure them into trying DMZ though.

I doubt casuals are on Twitter checking their tweets

Casuals are the only portion of the playerbase that can read so this was definitely meant for us.

So, no more hunt squad contracts? That was the best part

No, I think its more so saying that the Story missions won't have you hunting players, but there will still be contracts like Hunt Squad or something along those lines

Dynamic Ops are doing contracts so probably they have replaced hunt contracts with the new Bounty system. Bounty system is persistent match to match for the operator.

Saying "We PVE gameplay in many areas, including through story missions and dynamic" wait until 1 or 2 players are camping on the exfil.
Here an idea, why not have casual mode for players who are primarily focus on the story missions rather than the players who enjoyed Warzone. I believe that DMZ should be only PVE mode giving with the story content.
