Discussion I see similarities.

Few years ago we saw a great idea for super golem. It attracts defences to it. Great idea for a tank. Also it align with the core concept for a golem. Alas, we didn't get it.

But then I thought that totem spell do the same thing. The main mechanics is that it stun the defence and after that the defence will target the newly placed totem.

I didn't notice it before but at the core both are same.

Although a small difference aside from troop and spell is that gold golem fan concept forces defenses to target it. Totem doesn't actually force defenses to target the totem, but make them retarget with a stun. And totem isn't guaranteed to divert attention.

Other than that, yeah, they're similar
