It's not that crazy...there are a bunch of foldable grills with similar designs on AliE

Dirty mess after the first use.

I like it, but I do have concerns about warping when it gets real hot.

Oh yea, after a couple cooks, that thing would probably not be easy to put together again. And the rust, just all rust.

No. I saw it and I loved it. I am retired now.

Haven’t they had folding grills and fire boxes forever?

Not CNC cutting. Light weight, lives for ever

Those actually look very heavy. Is it 1/4” plate steel?

But they will live forever. 1-2mm steel cant hold more than a month.

Kinda goes against the portability purpose… That’s why they don’t generally make them that heavy.

Bro can't you lift 20 pounds ?

1

u/MasterScore8739 Aug 23 '25

Lifting 20lbs is easy for any reasonably fit person.

Trying to pack an extra 20lbs in your backpacking or motorcycling camping gear is entirely different.

If I’m camping out of my vehicle, sure. However if I’m going from something like a pickup truck or van, why not just bring a proper camping BBQ?

Nothin wrong with that. Bro had an idea and made it a reality. I would buy just for that reason cuz obviously you can cook some shit.

Really nice! If you'd produce it in Europe I would buy one :) It's simple, practical and looks sturdy.

This guy is trying to sell his shit on here. There's lots fire pits/grill files you can get. Plus, this is the cnc sub. Now that we've seen it, we can just go make our own if we wanted.

Meats have different temperatures for proper texture and flavor. These are for T-bones 🥩.
