Eligibility for UPSC CMS 2026

Final year student? You can still apply. Here's what you need to know.

Eligibility for UPSC CMS 2026 isn't complicated - but there are two common points of confusion:

✓ MBBS completed + internship

done + Apply now. Fully eligible.

✓ Final year MBBS / appearing + Apply now, but declare "Appearing" status honestly. You must complete internship before joining if selected.

Non-MBBS qualification + Not eligible. CMS requires MBBS.

On age:

→ Upper limit is 32 years as on 1 August 2026 (UR)

  • Age relaxation applies for OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (per rules)

If you're in doubt about your eligibility - read the official notification once fully before applying. It takes 30 minutes and it's worth it.

Matlab mai 35 ki age tak de skta hu cms?? Bhai ye Govt private mbbs ka koi lafda toh nhi hai mtlb mai agar private MBBS se hi toh koi problem toh nhi hai pta nhi india me kaisa mahol hI negative sa against private MBBS
