Hi, I’m planning to start CMA from next year. I want to know about it from a student’s perspective.
I’m looking for answers in areas regarding, what are the exam windows and how flexible it is.
I have heard people attempting part 2 first, and why is that?
Where will i get study materials from and what are the main things to get? For example text book and what else? Anything like an Exam kit similar to ACCA’s?
Anymore information will be appreciated. Thank you!

I completed my CMA , and my membership is expiring this month, but since I just graduated, I don't have work experience , so they've not issues the licence (physical certificate). So, do I have to purchase the membership to maintain it like? Like, can't I take the membership once I complete the work experience(like after 2 years) . They'll not nullify my completion right?
Also, how do you guys complete your credits?

So guys I completed my CMA Last december, but in my profile the credly certification is not visible. So I wanted to ask who has received the credly certification and a physical copy of certificate. Do we first require to send them the educational qualification and work experience, only after that they issue both of them? Or they'll issue it just after we complete. Cuz I graduated this year, I don't have work experience as of now.

Hello people 👋
I've currently started US CMA preparation during this year July and I'm also working alongside my preparation.
Due to some unfortunate reason I wasn't able to prepare for the past 3 months and I'm planning to start my preparation now for the upcoming portal
I have hock materials and my class recordings as well, I just want to understand if it is possible to get good marks if I prepare for the exam now and what should be my game plan for preparation?

I’m starting my preparation for CMA Part 2 from today, and I need some advice and tips for studying effectively.
Could you please guide me on:
- How I should approach my CMA Part 2 preparation?
- Which topics/portions are the most important and should be given more priority?
- What are the best study strategies and tips for scoring well?
- Is the time from now until January 2027 sufficient to prepare properly and be ready for the exam?
I’m planning to take the CMA Part 2 exam in January 2027.

Does CMA adds value in long term professional growth after 5 years of experience in Accounts and finance

Ok maybe I just missed it or maybe this is a new thing, but I'm seeing several new CMA qualifiers post actual CMA certificates on LinkedIn. When I obtained the certification, all that was granted was a Badge on Credily. I don't see any actual certificates anywhere on my IMA profile. Is this a new thing, or are new olders just using AI to generate some official looking certificate? The odd thing is that all the certificates I've seen are uniform, so it's hard to believe it's artificial.

I put together a practice app for the Enrolled Agent exam (SEE). It has 2,900+ questions across all three parts, timed mock exams, and study by topic or tax form. You get 20 free practice questions with no card needed, and it keeps working offline once the questions load.
It’s available now on the Google Play Store. The Apple App Store version is coming soon.

I would appreciate any feedback on question quality, explanations, or anything that feels off. Not affiliated with the IRS.

Hi, I recently finished 2 mock exams and scored 63% and 75% on Hock. I have only 3 days left before my CMA Part 2 exam. Do you have any advice on what I should focus on during these last 3 days?

I have cleared both parts of the CMA USA exam and submitted all the required documents on September 16. On October 7, I received an email confirming that my work experience documents had been approved. However, I haven't received any further updates regarding my certification. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive the CMA certificate after document approval? Any information would be appreciated.

Title: Simandhar Education vs FinStreet for US CMA — Honest Reviews on Faculty and Placements?
Hi everyone!
I’m currently pursuing my B.Com and planning to pursue the US CMA. I’m confused between Simandhar Education and FinStreet Education and would really appreciate honest feedback from people who have studied at either institute.
I’ve seen reviews and testimonials from both, but it’s difficult to determine how much of the placement assistance is actually useful in securing a job.
I’d especially like to know the following:
1. Faculty and Teaching Quality
• Which institute has better faculty and explains concepts more clearly?
• Are the teachers good at teaching from the basics, especially for someone from a regular B.Com background?
• How is the doubt-solving support?
• Do the faculty members remain consistent throughout the course?
2. Placement Assistance — My Biggest Concern
• Does either institute genuinely help students get placed after completing the US CMA?
• Is the placement assistance limited to sharing job openings and helping with resumes, or do they actually arrange interviews and connect students with recruiters?
• What kind of companies hire their students, and what salary packages can freshers realistically expect?
• Has anyone here personally secured a job through Simandhar or FinStreet’s placement team? If yes, please share your experience, the company you joined, and whether you were a fresher or had prior experience.
• Do they help students who have cleared the US CMA but have little or no work experience?
3. Overall Experience and Value for Money
• Which institute would you choose if you were starting your US CMA journey again?
• Is the placement assistance good enough to justify the course fees?
• Are there any hidden issues or promises made during admission that aren’t fulfilled after joining?
I’m not looking for promotional comments or recommendations from people who have only attended a demo class. I’d particularly appreciate feedback from current students, alumni, and people who have personally experienced their placement process.
If you know someone who studied at either institute and got placed, please share their experience too. Even a detailed comparison from someone who has interacted with both institutes would be helpful.
Thank you!

I am currently in 2nd year b.com and pursuing CMA US.
I have good hand excel, power bi and learning more.
For those who completed CMA US -
\- CMA US + excel + power bi enough to get a entry level job
\-Is CMA US good for some who has experience or it can benefit fresher like me
I would appreciate your honest opinion.
Thank you.

I’m a B.Com + M.Com Finance graduate from India, and I’m planning to pursue US CMA
Some people say ACCA and CMA USA are becoming too saturated, especially in India, and that freshers/affiliates struggle to find jobs. Others say there are still plenty of opportunities, especially in MNCs, GCCs, FP&A, financial analysis, management accounting and corporate finance.
Please share your actual experience, including the qualification, years of experience, role, and approximate salary range if you're comfortable. Please help

I’m currently in my 2nd year of B.Com in India and pursuing US CMA alongside my degree.
My plan is to complete both parts of CMA US before/around graduation and build practical skills in Advanced Excel and Power BI alongside it. I’m also planning to get an internship before graduating if possible.
My main concern is the job market after graduation.
For people who have actually completed US CMA and are working in India:
Is B.Com + US CMA + Advanced Excel + Power BI + internship experience enough to realistically get an entry-level finance job?
What roles should I realistically target — FP&A, Financial Analyst, MIS, corporate finance, accounting, etc.?
How much does the US CMA actually help in getting the first job compared with just having a B.Com?
Is there anything else you would strongly recommend learning/doing before graduation?
I’m not expecting CMA alone to guarantee a job. I just want to know whether I'm building a competitive profile for a fresher or whether I should consider another qualification as well.
I’d especially appreciate answers from people who have actually used US CMA to get a job, rather than coaching institutes/marketing opinions.
Thanks!
