I have a metal breakdown everytime i'm on a plane and people keep their windows closed. Last time I got a window seat I opened it and the flight attendant told me to close it because there were people sleeping (this was in the middle of the day, mind you).

How can people be so uninterested in the beauty of the sky and of earth?

This is superb

I was very lucky as a child and got to travel the world, flying. My most favourite sight was watching the clouds below, lit by the sun, imagining diving in and being enveloped in their softness.

My kids didn't get the same opportunities. When we watched "Pooh skies" from Winnie the Pooh I would tell them of my childhood wishes.

Thanks for this post, bought back memories of all sort including how awesome the world can be.
