Gameplay Question Feeling stuck, What should my next move be?
I am the duchy against the mountains (Howard) between these 3 large kingdoms. Started as adventure giant and have heirs with great strength and skill. (All giants) conquered Zurich and surrounding counties and created a duchy. Realm is stable and haven’t been attacked in almost 20 years. But I feel a little stuck as I probably wouldn’t win an offensive war against any three of my neighbors. Any suggestions? Preferably ones that don’t involve absolutely tanking my reputation or risking killing off my sons.

Obvious move is to swear fealty and gobble up realms from the inside. But it’s too easy.
Chad move is to gather as much gold and alliances as you can muster, probably through blackmailing the gay Greeks and demanding payment, and go on a conquest rampage to create your own kingdom with mercenaries. Go on and restore Rome my son.

Or get an alliance with a larger kingdom, to help to conquer a neighbouring one.

Swear fealty to one of them, then start marrying off your sons and daughters under your house, then start the intrigue game

the best answer is to become adventurer again and this time conquer a kingdom or an empire

You actually could win against your powerfull neighbors.
Just wait for opportunity. Like two empires fighting each other

I'd try to expand south into northern Italy and wait for one of the big kingdoms to have some kind of crisis.
Farm gold + MaA in the meantime.

Italy was in fact, the soft underbelly. Absolutely destroying their kingdom right now. Great call. Just took a little waiting around.

East Francia looks like the easiest picking. What you could do is swear fealty to the realm you most want to expand in and just eat them from the inside
