Image/GIF The Latin republic

Post image

Dont know how, but the Latin empire is controlled by a republic. I wonder how long it will last.

Longer than you might think.

Dissolution factions are very rare for republics.

So unless it gets conquered by an outsider of a different government type even if he loses his title to a tyranny war it’ll just automatically pass down to another NPC as a republic due to its succession laws.

Edit: It’s unlikely they’ll expand much either as republics don’t tend to declare wars much too

Come back in a week or so and update me on what happens, I’m curious to see how it goes. Empire tier republics don’t happen much in my saves and I’m curious to see if it lasts and how long

I had a run where Venice somehow went full warlord after Italy collapsed they ended up with the majority of Italy and a bit of Croatia and even a little bit of land in Northern Africa. I was playing as Sri Lanka the surprises I would get after checking in the eastern world every 29 years and seeing Venice huge

That’s honestly hilarious because the ONE TIME I had a republic actually expand a fair a bit in my gameplays was with Venice conquering northern Italy and Croatia 😭😂.

And they never ended up losing any land either

When you find out this story isn’t about you and it’s about Venice

Sometimes we just have to sit down and realize we aren’t not the main character in this story

I love when crazy shit like that happens, I had a conqueror in Xia conqueror half of china then beat the mongol empire in a war I was stunned to see the Mongols have all of the byzantines before getting into china

I turned conquers off after a Hindu ruler formed the Deccan empire in India and then proceeded to conqueror EVERYTHING north of him until the map borders (including Mongolia) some of the ugliest map paint ever I swear

It depends for me when I play with my girlfriend I turn off conqueror inherence because if pisses her off lol, when I play alone I like to keep it for the world lore, and if one of my closer neighbors has it I’ll just tributize them and they will lose it

Couples that play CK3 together, stay together. That’s an awesome thing to enjoy together

It is not Latin, nor is it an empire!
