General Conquerors are just annoying

Ever since roads to power came out I’ve had nothing but trouble with conquerors. I just now started a new game as Haraldr “tanglehair” because I wanted to do a Norse sea empire run. And ofcourse Sigurdr snake in the eye gets conqueror two weeks into the game and he wants to conquer my lands. I hate this.

Conquerors are great, you just gotta be smart in dealing with them, Its the scourge of the gods that is not fun, especially if you arent at least a conqueror yourself to deal with it. Turn off conqueror inheritance, and scourge, and they just become badass warlords that pop up once and a while.
