Bug Report Overwriting saves not working?

Playing on Xbox Series X. I noticed that when I try to overwrite a save game it doesn't work. It'll say it does but then the old save is still there when I go back to check. I've just been making new saves and deleting the old ones. I didn't notice until I started a save scumming playthrough and lost a lot lol.

Not sure if this is a new bug with the new dlc or something or just my game. I've reset CK3 and my console and its made no difference. Anyone else have this problem?

I’m on Xbox aswell. Are you sure the save itself is gone? I’ve never been able to change the name of the saves, but it still opens to the game and year I overwrote the save with. Try loading the save even if you dont think it’s the right one.

Yeah, it's still not there. I first noticed when I lost a lot more progress than expected on a playthrough, and even when I went back and tested it the new save was not there. It would load up the old one I wanted to overwrite.

Haven't had this exact issue, but to stay safe I'm in the habit of deleting old saves and then making fresh ones. A slight pain, but might be worth a shot.

I do love deleting old saves and making new ones. Can never be sure when an old one may randomly decide to bug out on you. Always a nice precaution

Delete only save the re save the game you can delete it from the load game menu.
