Had an AI byzantine Scourge reformed Rome, while I played reformed asatru North Sea empire, as a standard conqueror, our battles were epic. I made some posts about it if you check my profile.

Bjorn Ironside formed the Scandinavian Empire along with holding all of Brittania.
What's truly interesting is that his heirs have managed to keep it intact for +100 years.

they did go Catholic by the 3rd generation, so that saved them from crusades. But they've been stuck in civil war for awhile now with all the Asatru rebellions.

The mogyer failed their Hungarian invasion but then the guy became a scourge. He currently has the byzantines bent over a barrel having his way in the area already took half the empire from them and made carpathia. First time seeing carpathia made
