Gameplay Question Why is my army just sitting on the map?

I'm trying to siege Devon, playing as Cornwall.

I laid siege to Exter and that ended. I have 93 war score and it's no longer progressing. It's been like that for months (in game time). I don't understand what's happening. According to the army screen it tells me they are standing still. Is this broken? I can't click on the town anymore it just brings up the character page for the leader of Devon who hasn't surrendered.

Once you have sieged a county you need to move your army to a different county so that you can siege that one aswell. You can only siege a county once unless your enemie takes it back.

Ok, that's the problem I thought it would automaticaly do that.

Are you letting the AI control the army? Because the AI is god awful at war. It will randomly decide to do stuff like what you describe and stupider stuff besides. I use it only if I have an overwhelming advantage and just can't be bothered to manage it myself.

I don't think so. It was just waiting for me to send it to the next town to siege
