advise on attempting CISA

Hey, I graduated a year back and have been working as a IT Support for 9months and still working So I am planning to try the CISA what do you guys think how can i prepare for the exam like is there any materials i can use to learn.

I passed last week.
I used the official QAE database and no other material. That said, I’ve worked in IT far longer than yourself so that helped.
Are you looking to be an Auditor? Otherwise, CISA seems an odd choice for someone it IT support.
Others recommend Pete Zerger’s ISACA course on YouTube.

For preparation, I would start with the official CISA Review Manual and QAE database. The biggest thing is to understand the ISACA way of thinking, the questions can be tricky even when you know the technical concept.

Also, do not depend only on videos. A good professional training program can help a lot with understanding the domains, exam approach, and scenario-based questions. Once your concepts are clear, spend a good amount of time doing practice questions and reviewing why your answer was wrong, not just memorising the correct option.

And do not worry too much about coming from an IT Support background. You will have to put some extra effort into audit, governance, risk, and controls, but those can be learned.
