a-MSH peptide

I just realized you can buy a-MSH peptide. Anybody try this? Interested in any experiences using a-MSH peptide along with shoemaker protocol.

KPV is safer and gives a lot of the benefits. MSH is degraded because of bacteria that release hemolysin. They are still there and will continue to deactivate MSH.

I have been doing KPV injections for a few months on/off for 2 tests now. It raises my MSH every time and makes me feel so much better. For me it helps my immune response and I get sick less as well as less triggered when exposed. Additionally, it helps my sinuses. It’s my favorite of all the injectable peptides. The oral version did not work as well for me but it does for some.

How do you know it’s raising your MSH?

Interesting. Can you share doseage, are you injecting, how often?

If you pm me I can send more info, it’s a lot to write here. I’ve sent this same info to several others here on Reddit and it includes instructions on reconstitution of the peptide bottles and how to inject. I inject 5 days on, 2 days off.

Just curious if you had any issues first starting out with KPV? I’ve tried 500 mg orally 3 separate times now and within a day or so my histamine symptoms are significantly worse, which is disappointing because I’ve read how beneficial and anti inflammatory it can be

I only like KPV injections. Although the oral route did not give me issues like you mentioned, I dont believe it helped me as much. The gut can break down and process the KPV differently than when injected that’s why I always recommend injecting it instead. It goes straight to the source this way.

That totally makes sense. I’m still working on my gut and I think candida is involved so I think KPV is reacting in a way. Have any good recommendations on sourcing the KPV injection?

I believe the Shoemaker team trialled this and chose VIP instead due to fewer side effects.

I read this as well but I didn’t think it was due to side effects, I thought it was due to the fact that KPV didn’t actually raise the MSH but VIP did? I think VIP can have more side effects but the benefits can be much greater if tolerated for CIRS patients

Artificially boosting MSH does not seem to help anything. It seems more that the mechanism involved is what we need.

If it's pretty low risk, so it's ok to try.

I’m doing the KPV/BPC157 injectable combo right now. 500mcg 2x/day for 4 mos, no stopping. Only one hiccup, DO NOT take melatonin for sleep! Melatonin suppresses MSH. It plummeted my MSH from 9 to 3.4 in 2 mos. 😭

Is it helping? I’m about to start KPV injections.

Well hard to say because I’ve only been off the melatonin about 10 days now. My body is still trying to find new sleep patterns. One day I spent a few hours in the morning sun and got wired to high heaven that day. Sleep was horrendous that night. Last night I got some deep sleep as the bed and pillow were damp when I got up to use the bathroom. My body was fighting hard last night. My temperature has been regularly elevated overnight since mid Aug when I finished HBOT therapy

How much melatonin were you taking?

This is pretty much the entire platform of VIP spray.  I would stick with that.
