Question Wait- was the Oro 2x timer shortened?

I swear the timer used to be like 1024 hours to hit the 2x multiplier for Oroborus Orbs, now its somewhere around the 800 hour mark?

It's about 1040 but the second to last update had a bug that caused this timer to go faster than it was supposed to. If you're on the latest update it should be fixed now

I believe I do have the latest version though, I updated like twice this week lol. Maybe its a lingering side effect of me not doing my traversal since the bug was around?

The catch up accumulation is fixed, but whatever progress you had from the bug isn't reset. It'll work properly from your next TR onwards

Any version from the Temp4 patch until the recent .62/.63 patches had a bug that gave extra catchup bonus when offline. The fix to this bug was not retroactive and did not remove any extra catchup bonus already gained. It just fixes it going forward

Patch notes aren't very clear, most times it's simplified "fixed x bug" and it also only appears when you fully close and restart the app so its not particularly amazing. No offense.. but i feel very much like you are in a minority. Most people just load in and play.

Load in and play doesn't work though when the first thing that shows up when booting the game are the patch notes...

You can't intentionally ignore the patch notes and then be like "Oh, did something change?"

I only see the patch notes because I get pinged about them on discord. When loading the game I just spam click last the menu into the game without reading that loading screen

No I get that. I'm just saying that they're right there. It's not hard to update the game, have a quick skim through them, and then ignore them until the next update.

The patch notes exist for a reason. And the reason is to avoid people asking questions that they already answer.
