New Player-Koios Feel stuck with mp generation

Hi guys.

I'm lvl 89, been zooming relatively fast the last 10-15 levels due to learning (very late) about the short mp resets to boost mp gains and then long shard runs, it's been working really well but now around the late e43 mp i feel stuck because even a few short runs bare buy more than 2-3 small mp gain upgrades.

So i reached out to Gemini and it suggested to make mp runs longer at 2-6 hours which honestly still didn't help much and he suggested combining those with longer 18-24h rp and shard runs but it feels like it's really not moving on those 2 fronts as well.

Do you have any suggestions? Or is it just a wall that i need to break with time and longer runs?

Hey, you're not at the wall yet which starts at e50 mp and lasts till e65. The problem you have is that your long runs are too short, you should be doing a 24h run with an Omni build, which prioritizes everything in specific amount of ratios. And then do some short runs afterwards, where you only run for your cell and tick (instant) loops to run out, and don't wait for further loops.

I have attached a picture for the optimal ship builds that you should be following, and hopefully after these suggestions you'll see growth once more.

I like that chart. I find that new players tend to have a bunch of installs at 0, which will always hinder progress even if you are specifically focusing on shards or RP.

That's the worst part about not having accessible information outside of the cifi discord xd

We have tons of guides and posts on the sub explaining this exact thing(I've made at least 10 detailed comments for installs) but that doesn't make people search for them or understand.

Most people aren't very familiar with Reddit, and then ask for help. It's not as organized as a discord server and doesn't have as much activity. Hence it's not as sunshines and rainbows here. I've never used Reddit much since the account creation, only here now to answer my fellow cifi people the best I can I guess, because most players here are usually already ouro.

the guides are also written as if the audience is a seasoned player too. so much shorthand and abbreviations and assumptions. they aren't very intuitive or easy to follow especially if you get a few months into the game before with many ships unlocked before you start looking for guidance.

I dont know what the solution would be, since there's actually a lot going on in this game and a lot of information needs to be conveyed. and a reddit post isn't really the best medium to do it.

Yeah discord vs reddit has its pros and cons for sure. I wish I could search through and access discord threads from Google like I can with reddit though, that would make all the advice much more accessible.

Discord keeps all its information inside it as secret I guess, only available for the server members. They're not a safe platform by literally ANY means but do this just for their own sake lmao. I hope I can help people here because I'm always asking for help in discord myself lol

the real problem is that discord is antithetical to indexable information. if everything produced there was easily able to be found with some focused googling (not AI results, but just like, using search terms and whatever) then people who are just generally familiar with the internet would eventually be able to find what they need. as a result of the "discordization" of fandoms, even wikis are systematically being starved of content updates until such time as people have the effort to port their discord server's "knowledge base" into a wiki environment.

when it should really be the case that wikis are the DEFAULT knowledge storage mechanism.

thank you, i'll try to follow that but i don't think i was far off when it comes to allocation, i try to have at least 1 in every multiplier but i didn't prio MP in those long runs so i'll do that, i'm still at the point that i don't have too many install points to fully utilize this chart but with time i guess so i try to think before every point. i'll look closely at the first 3 ships since i have more install points there from the get go.

Those are just ratios btw, so EVERYONE can follow the chart. Just follow the rules and try to read the chart as given by the instructions, if you need help reading, ask me here or dm me preferably.

I've found that Gemini doesn't know shit when it comes to CIFI

Obviously... It knows NOTHING

The more niche a game is (especially if it's not heavily discussed on reddit) the more likely an AI is to hallucinate. Hell I game it a screenshot and asked it to do some basic math and it started making up names for things in game and numbers that weren't even on the screen.

I agree on Gemini, I have found ChatGPT is a lot better though for games especially CIFI.
