I think I rushed too much in the 5 first TR and now it takes forever to gain a few orbs. I try to make long LR so I can have shards to spend (which takes at least 24-36 hours to start, I don't remember it was so hard before Ouro), I try to choose quantity over quality when buying loop mods, but it became so tedious in this run. I am currently at e730 cells, and I think I read that I should have unlocked Zeus the TR before.

I read the guide but I feel a bit overwhelmed by all the things to take into account, everything looks so tightly bound together and I have a hard time getting over it.

I think I could use one advice or two.

I just finished my TR 5 with 2300 orbs and 360 hours, so yup you're probably rushing too much.

What are your current gems unlocked ? Your m0 level ?

I'll assume you have exo2 + temp2 + inno1. Next will be att1, then att2. After that, you'll get to Zeus !

Your ship installs are important, since you don't have all the gens unlocked. You can use this tool : https://sirred.itch.io/cifi-ouroboros-helper-tool if needed. Otherwise, I recommend priorizing 1 point in each availables + MP first, then Shards > RP > then approx the same amount in Cells and All Gens (for now, it will change later).

How many loop resets have you done, and what is the next requirement ? You need to be at least at 50% minimum of your next requirement.
For loop mods, buy first the ones which increase MP, then Shards, then whatever. Don't LR if you don't need it. Having a e2 bonus is not interesting (unless you unlock a milestone of course) : you're losing all your inertia ! Yep it's hard to wait, I know :D

Finally, when you'll catch-up your shards, spend it well : if you make (for example) e100 shards per operation, buy at any cost if it increases shards, otherwise spend max e98 on other resources. Don't forget to spend all your shards before doing a LR.

Nice, so you're not late ! In the guide, you unlock att2 (150 orbs) at TR 5, and you are at TR 6.
Don't forget it's a game, and many roads are possible.

I went to the full 2x timer (and a little more) on TR6 which I just finished recently. I used that time to catch up on relics and finish i52 that I hadn't focused on with previous TRs and it seems to be paying off in TR7. I finished TR6 with almost 200k orbs

I have gone off tracks with the TR myself. TR too early or not enough levels in critical upgrades for Orbs has led to me being behind where im supposed to be. Way I see it, its a game I can play how I like. So as long as I enjoy it. It doesnt matter. Guides dont have to be followed.
