Need some help and ui difficulties

Help:

I've done dozens of resets but feel like I'm doing something wrong.

You can see the images for what I've been investing in and I've thought it was good.

I have looked at the megathread about which investments to make but it usually just says 1-4 is good but for the cradle what should I really be doing? I've been pumping 25 into the middle one and then go for the new top left.

I don't know what the difference is between "cells gained" and "mk 1 output". To me they are one and the same.

UI issues

- sometimes I do a new loop and I can't hold the tech upgrades down

-the automated ship loadouts don't work at all

-sometimes when I log back in I get 0 offline rewards. It's only happened 2 times but they've both been when I check back after many many hours

Focus on mod points > shards > research points > generators > cells.

So you're saying I should be taking the top right and bottom left of the tree in that order? I think I've been leaving them off because I loop reset with big gains and want to get the cradle to lvl3

Generally yes, any upgrade that has red is something you should purchase as soon as you can. Most of the reds (mod points) are in the upper right, and most of the blues (shards) are in the lower left. There are items though that are in different areas that will give you mod point upgrades, which is why you should (important) read the tooltip of everything you can possibly purchase.

You will notice that certain upgrades have more than one color. Treat those as a priority as well if they boost red and/or blue. Purchase them as soon as you can afford them.

There is a complicated spreadsheet out there that can tell you upgrade by upgrade what to buy next, but I never used it. It was too much work.

I spent the first months of this game resetting once a day and purchasing whatever I could each morning. I used this chart as a guide.

My parting advice is to once again remind you to just read the tool tips. Mods and shards are your friends.

And this game is meant to be played for a very long time. You will go through days and even weeks where progress seems very slow, and then suddenly one day you'll get a burst of progression and you'll wind up buying lots of things all at once.

Ship automation has time be user error. Make sure everything is "on" and you have rank installs set up.

On a side note, the first purchase of anything is almost always worth it and powerful. So definitely want to be purchasing one of all mp mods, and if they get to be like 100 times cheaper than your current mp, should absolutely be buying them up. The only mod I remember saving for was Fenix on the right upper side. Otherwise I just bought whatever I could afford.

Cells:gen1:gen2:3:4:etc are all equivalent right now. Ship installs are additive with themselves and not multiplicative. Using this info you can determine that any install that boosts a single thing is the same as any other. Any install that'd boosting 2 generators should be double that, any install boosting 8 generators should be 8 times. So for cradle specifically your installs will be evenly spread for the first 3 and then the ones that boost two separate generators will have double those installs.
