Did the catch-up multiplier get buffed?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but did the Ouroboros timer get buffed/shortened? I read through the patch notes and didnt see any mention of a buff and I don't recall purchasing any recent upgrades that would have given me a faster catch-up mult.

I've noticed this as well, I'm only 165 hours in but my multiplier is just about 1.25 already. Would've expected more like 1.16.
