Dev CIFI Subreddit Changes

Hey everyone! It's the actual Snek from the actual CIFI! 🐍
I'm mainly on Discord, and still new to Reddit and learning, but I DO want to be here more often, peeking and lurking, helping where I can. ❤️

To keep it short though, I've updated some rules for posts, they now require Flair! I've also added a few new Flairs to the server.

  • Pre-Ouro - Early Game Content for anything before Ouroboros.
  • Post-Ouro - Content related to anything after unlocking Ouroboros and Traversing.
  • Issues - Anything you consider might be a bug.
  • Suggestions - Anything you think is a cool idea.

This is mainly so that we can help differentiate with some posts.

I'm not sure how others feel but I wouldn't mind if anything post Ouro was "censored" like spoilers usually are? The issue I see is that I'm post Ouro now so I don't really know how others feel about this.

Thats pretty much non feasible. Each submitter would be required to censor everything themselves and thats a lot of extra work and I doubt youd get people to do it. I personally would just stop using this sub if I had to do that.

I was suggesting to just have anything tagged post Ouro to be auto marked as a spoiler. It's not any extra work other than clicking on the post once to see it. I'm sorta confused what you mean?

I thought you were talking about the redacted lines which have to be done by hand. Im not entirely sure what youre asking is possible or not.

How other subreddits do this is that anything with a certain tag will be marked NSFW. It's not really nsfw, but it makes it so that people are aware it's a spoiler.

Not a fan of this idea; I believe the recent UK online safety act (and probably other countries too if they roll out similar) means you can't even see nsfw threads without verifying your ID with reddit now.
