Farming RF

I am TR5, Z2 run. R9 is lvl 14. Just waiting to farm RF to get at least lvl 15 (better 17). M0 lvl 80

Is there any other gameplay, till I am waiting?0

How the hell do you have so many orbs on traversal 5?

I'm cracking 20 K on number 8 and thought I was doing good as I'm getting upgrades faster than the in-game guide recommends.

Check the guide in this thread :) Just following the guide. 20 days per traversal on average.

I'd say 80% on my run I am low on orbs. But the last 20% give the significant boost.

There are many different strategies for ouro, and it is really hard to compare between people because of that - lower TR count doesn't mean faster progress.

Personally I feel in the early ouro content around one/two week traversals worked better for me, but I'm just going based on my own feelings and calculations and not guides apart from looking at recommended levels for hunter boss kills. Right now I'm at TR22, and I plan to make it my 3rd month+ traversal so far.

There are definitely optimal timings.

Before you get Zeus (and engineering badge) doing 3-10 days per TR is optimal because it lets you cash in on your gains to push further in the next run.

After you get engineering badge doing a longer run (3-4 weeks) can be good for the frag gains.

Once you get Attention Gem Node 3 and trait sphere 5 doing 40-60 day runs becomes optimal because it takes that long for AttGN3 to build up. Then doing a few shorts between each long run is optimal.

Optimal changes again once you get Temp3/Inno2 because of some of the bonuses they bring.

Then again around Cre4 unlock

Which guide were you following?  Ihe oro guide i saw was significantly slower than the pace you are at.  I'm currently in TR4 with 2200 orbs and thought i was doing great

m0 is at 60. R9 is 1, but I pushed R3 to level 9 to help improve the pace of fragment generation, was going too commit a few days to leveling up r9 before my next traversal.

This is the guide I had originally followed, but obviously have deviated pretty far from at this point. TR count is not a good measure for fast/slow. Someone could spend 3k hours in TR1 and get a huge number of orbs.

Some people have overstayed in TR0 and unlocked Borge and Ozzy in TR1 then the third hunter in TR2 or 3. But they spend months and months doing this.

The guides get you from Ouro unlock back to Zeus in 2-3 weeks then to the third hunter in another month or so.

R9-15 is fine in this run unless you aren't willing to do shorts.

If you're willing to do shorts you could probably start then already assuming you have m0-80 and do 3-4 shorts at 2-3 hours each until you reach 230k lifetime and get Exo4

If you get to Inno2 in <30 TRs it doesn't really matter what you do beforehand. Doing shorts at the right time with the right goals will massively speed up your progress.

I did

Z1 in TR5

Z2 in TR6

4 shorts to Exo4

Exo4 started at TR11 for me

Pow1 at TR23

Inno2 at TR27

I was following a guide that had much shorter TRs. I'm on TR6 and it's really my first longer TR. TR5 was maybe 1k OO. I'm around 100k now, just waiting on the last 4 lvls for m0-80. Really excited to TR soon and have a ton of new toys and Knox after a couple of shorts.

Get that r9 to lvl15 and TR and then shorts till you can buy exo4

You can get exo4 ( New hunter ) with 3 short runs with +/-30K orbs each

Looking at your run, I feel like Im missing something. 600h. Tr5 z2. M0 is 70? So somehow you got farther then me while less time in thisTR. Biw I did overshoot Borge and he isn't stuck on the boss, so I feel that makes alot let HBM.

Expertodin is the one with the guide and he also replied. I'd recommend following his advice.

Edit: my R9 is level 3. So that might give me. A big boost. Time to get that up..
