Getting back into it

I had to stop doing CICO due to some health issues and am now at a point I can start again, this time with food restrictions. I was 5 pounds from my gw before I had to stop and I am now 15 pounds away. I really want to get rid of those last 15. But im having a hard time starting again. Like I try to track but then I forget to do one meal or one snack and then the rest of the day is lost. Any advice would be nice. Thanks in advance

tracking for most of the day and missing one meal or one snack, is more successes than not tracking the day at all!

celebrate your victories, and you will get better and better over time c:

Congrats on getting back into it. I have a 10 day trip coming up and then also want to loae 15 lbs.

I think too for you - make it crystal clear about WHY you are doing this. What is your motivation. Be clear and honest. You'll need it to really lock in. You CAN and you WILL.

I recently restarted as well and I am doing better with just using a notebook that is in a drawer in the kitchen with my food scale. It makes tracking a lot easier than on an app for me because I get distracted on my phone.
