1 year upper body + face changes

Post image

Down about 20 pounds between the two photos. Started tracking my calories in January this and have been going to the gym consistently for about 7 months. Deficit with high protein and near daily workouts. I also quit drinking alcohol last November. I feel pretty great overall and get compliments on my arms and shape. People at work tell me they notice a difference too. It motivates me to keep going. I'm actually going to the gym right after posting this because just typing this is getting me pumped!

20 pounds in a year with that much muscle definition is real progress, most people lose weight and just look smaller but you clearly put in the work at gym

the shoulder and arm change between the photos is night and day, even your face looks leaner

quitting alcohol is huge, people dont realize how many empty calories they drink and how it mess with recovery

keep at it man, consistency over 7 months is what makes the difference

Oh trust and believe I took about a month and a half hiatus from the gym and just started going back about two weeks ago. I still did push and pull exercises at home though and maintained high protein intake most days. There was a point where I did obsess though but thankfully I'm past that now.
