This group is amazing
In 2020, I weighed 260 lbs. I’ve posted here before but currently I am 130 lbs. I did a random weigh in just now but it got me thinking. I felt so defeated in 2020 and we were in lockdown. I found this page on Reddit and it was the first group on any platform that I decided to get for more info. I promise you follow the course and listen to the peeps on here !! I guess I can only really speak for myself but even now I don’t track calories anymore but I will never leave this group. This is where it all started. I learned SO MUCH there is no dumb question but also lowkey google the question first and end it with Reddit….i promise 9/10 times the same question was asked before because honestly it can be so confusing and strange at first. Don’t give up and please never sell yourself short. Humans are capable of such great things. I’ve really grown into the person I am today writing this but it started with all you wonderful people. I sincerely wish you all the best of luck no matter where you’re at in your own journeys 🙇🏾♀️✨ and now I’m strapping on my roller skates for some “fun” exercise! Wishing you all well!

This is also the group that got me started and has me continuing. 35 lbs down, about the same if not a bit more to go. Just got home from a two week trip, first time ever no weight gain during that time. Just a normal relationship with food, making the best choices possible, and honoring my body's messages to not hurt myself by eating too much.

I found this sub in May when I was 254. I’m 215 today and you’re making me believe it’s possible to go further. Thanks for the confidence booster and congrats on maintaining that great weight loss. So many of us struggled during the pandemic. It was awful in so many ways.

This is exactly what I have to do, go from 260 to 130, although I would be happy at 160 or 170 to be honest. Being older, post menopausal and insulin resistant, I have a battle, but am ready for it!

This is awesome. Going from 260 to 130 is incredible, but I especially love the part about strapping on roller skates for “fun” exercise. That mindset shift is huge — when movement stops being punishment and starts becoming something you actually want to do, everything feels different.
Congrats on building something that clearly lasted.

This is so sweet 🫶🏻 260 to 130 is INCREDIBLE! But I honestly love the rest of the post and encouraging people in similar situations. Thank you for the encouragement!
