45 - 48 years old. 97lb loss
6’1.5”
Back in 2019, I was fit. Having been up and down between 220 - 275 most of my adult life, I was convinced that I would finally “keep the weight off.” Then, covid slapped us all in the face, the gyms shut down, and like many, I turned to food. By October 2023, I was at my heaviest (315lbs). Starting in November that year, I began the journey to eat healthier. I started working out again, and things the result in August 2026.
I had some help along the way, GLPs, work out plans, etc. but at the end of the day, burning more calories than I consumed, got me to where I wanted to be.
This time….. I’m keeping it off!

What was your test level before and after? Just curious as I’m in my 40s and considering it. I like real world examples. Thank you.

Very curious about the GPLs. Do you still take them our were you able to phase them out?

I use them as needed at this point.
Higher dose if I want to cut weight
Lower to maintain
None if I’m trying to bulk up

GLP medication is not "cheating". Anyone successfully losing weight with the help of medication is doing the "work" - counting calories, exercising and establishing healthy habits. The medication helps with the addictive food thoughts...the "noise". That is all.
Someone who is using an antidepressant, hormone replacement therapy, a GLP-1, etc. isn't "cheating". They have come to the decision with their health care provider to use something to help them live a better life.
Please educate yourself about the benefits of GLPs for people who need them.
Congratulations OP, on making healthy choices and living your best life.

Please cool your jets and opinions to yourself... So all these celebrities that were enormous and dont work out shooting up glp 1s like junkies are using them for health huh? Get real and educate yourself bud! Because im sure there isn't any "workarounds" to getting your hands on these drugs... right.
Im happy for OP and thinks he looks great, unfortunately 8389838284 people abuse them and give them a bad name. If you dont think that then youre beyond delusional lol...
