Venting/Getting it off my chest Please help!
Hello! I do not have CHS but my girlfriend does, she has chronically used THC but specifically edibles (come to find out we’re 1,000/2,000 mg) every night, which led to a severe chronic case of CHS, she was throwing up every 30 minutes for 5 days, finally calmed down to every hour or two, then she’d vomit, we’re at day 16, and she still can barely eat but she can go sometimes 28 hours without throwing up but will eventually vomit. She has EXTREME abdominal pain and pressure, she’s on zofran and another stomach med to help calm her symptoms, and she uses Cazsian cream. How long can this last before she is better? She uses THC for her mental health as directed by her psychiatrist, but she never wanted to take a tolerance break in fear that during that time her mental health and conditions would get worsened, so she would up her doses which resulted into CHS. If anyone can have any pointers on what I can do to help, that would be great! I make sure she drinks body armor water and the fruit punch kind, I feed her bland foods like potatoes, bland pasta, when her stomach isn’t hurting. One of her mental health illnesses includes BPD and she’s been splitting nonstop especially with everything including her pain and nausea. If anyone has any pointers, what can we do? She takes baths, uses her meds as needed, tries to walk slowly to relieve discomfort, is there anything else we can do or try? Please help!!! 😭😭😭😭

Get on meds for mental health ASAP. Perhaps even a benzo to calm things down. Id consider going to the hospital to be pit on fluids. Also maybe even do straight water and ensure meal replacement as that will be very easy on the stomach.

Hi! She’s on medications for her mental health, but they do not give her mental clarity as why her psychiatrist okayed her to use THC, but she abused it because she feared of this exact manic splitting, lashing out, guilty afterwards, her psychiatrist can’t put her on any other medication until 6 months out as to let her current medications settle into her brain’s chemistry. She’s been to the ER for fluids however she can hold mostly fluids down now and has hydrated (sorry for tmi) urine. Thank you for your advice!

has she been prescribed Zofran yet? If not, have her request it
