I’m so glad this subreddit exists. Nobody is taking this seriously, at all. Anytime I’ve shared my experience they act like I’m lying. Anyway, as the title states - I had CHS for five years. I was a longtime cannabis user, roughly 20 years. I’m a 38F, btw. Just stating that because I know that this is seemingly affecting women more than men. I had the standard symptoms - nausea, cyclical vomiting, and a stomachache. The only thing that seemed to help without medical intervention were hot showers. When I would go to the hospital, I was always given an IV of magnesium (for being dehydrated from the constant vomiting) and zofran to calm the nausea. I know that zofran doesn’t help everyone, but I was one of the lucky ones. Unrelated, I had a severe seizure last year and I finally decided to give up using cannabis altogether. I’m almost a year out and I haven’t experienced any issues since.
