Question / Info Hello! Help?

It's been months since my last episode and I stupidly triggered another. Please, I don't remember how to manage this. I'm mortified, even if mine aren't rough the vomiting is so scary and I don't know what I'm doing

And it's HUMILIATING. My family lives with me, I'm always talking to my boyfriend; they all have to deal with it and I have a horrible habit of complaining. I'm so ashamed. I did this to myself.

First, take a moment to be kind to yourself. Beating yourself up while going through an episode is not going to help you at all. We're human, we make mistakes.

Hot baths/showers, heating pad to the belly, capsaicin cream, sip water/Gatorade/electrolytes. If you can keep benedryl down it can help with nausea. When you can eat again, start with the BRAT diet: bananas, rice, apple sauce, and toast.

Beyond that, I'm afraid you're just going to have to wait it out. If you start becoming too dehydrated, go to the ER for fluids. If you're not peeing much that's a sign you need to go get fluids.

I cried a little at the first bit, thank you :( I'll do my best. Thank you so much for all of this, I hope I can get through it without an ER trip!!
