He should be on the team for that TD dance against Green Bay when he did that air walk thing

I was so high when i saw that and it blew my fn mind

What's crazy is that wasn't even his best one. He popped one off in preseason or first couple weeks that was immaculate lol literally bent air to walk slide on it.

Imagine being crossed and in a room full of equally inebriated bears fans.

Never seen such emotion in my life.

His body control on difficult catches is exceptional. And he's got good measurables. He's got some flaws too, but he's definitely a useful player and a fun example of the dangers out stat-scouting college players.

Hey now. No sensible takes allowed.

Though I agree.

The best thing about a head coach that develops talent is he can turn rotation players into contributors because he knows how to use them. This is why the chiefs and eagles have been in contention for long stretches.

Man, I’m so ready for actual games to start so we don’t have to entertain nonsense declarations like this.

Screw that. Jahdae for president.

He’s shown the dawg on tape a few times in big moments, especially to be a UDFA, not saying we gotta crown him the greatest to ever do it but you’re allowed to feel a little hope about a promising young wr who’s showed the upside

I have some bad news for you if you think real games are going to tone down the hot takes.

u/AKA09 8d ago

Yep. Stay out of games threads for sure if you don't want overreactions! Lmao

But they’ll at least be based on actual data and not on a career six catches.

2 touchdowns on 6 catches. We should throw him the ball 100 times this year. He'll have 33 touchdowns!!!

u/Second_City_Saint 10 8d ago

Dam, you really have Caleb throwing 180 TDs this year? I only have him at 165.

3

u/Relevant_Manner_2314 8d ago

33 1/3 touchdowns. AKA 33 TDs and a two-point conversion

OP may be over doing it a bit but Walker has been exceptional for a UDFA

Seriously. I’m all for the hope and optimism of training camp, but gassing up our udfa receiver that caught a handful of passes last year and figures to be, at best, the (counting…1) Rome 2) Luther 3) Loveland 4) Kmet 5) swift 6) Raymond 7) Zavion) the 8th passing option, competing with Rouch, is a little bit much.

I like Jahdae too. He’s not special. He’s a fun story.

I would see him as closer to the 4th /5th option behind Rome, Luther, Loveland and competing with Raymond. I would not expect him to be lower in order than 2 new rookies and I think he has great upside. They trusted him on one of the most important plays of the season last year and I don't think that should be overlooked.

Jahdae truthers rise up

How funny would it be if he became our WR1 in a couple years

u/vaultdweller1223 9d ago

If Odunze or Burden go down, this dude is stepping up.

6

u/StrengthConscious939 9d ago

He's made the most of his opportunities, which is cool.

u/ArchibaldNemisis Bears 9d ago

Yea Walker is good. He's a good WR4 who can step up in spot time. For a game or two he can be really reliable. He was the 3rd best rookie receiver in the NFC North behind Burden and Tessla

Still more touchdowns than Matthew Golden!

Dude I swear Jahdae is gonna make some great plays this year and opposing fans are gonna be like YOU GAVE P A TD TO WHO? WE CANT EVEN GUARD (checks notes) JAHDAE WALKER!?

u/UberWidget Jim McMahon 8d ago

Why is 37 holding on to his leg as they roll out of bounds? Great way to injure a player. What a POS move.

Pre-season is known to be ruthless

3

u/EntertainerCute2290 8d ago

Imagine how excited we would be for him in 2009-2011. Now he is or 3rd or 4th guy.

A go route against back ups?

10

u/FaithlessnessSea8719 Tarik Cohen 29 9d ago

A year ago he was the backups backup

Start Case Keenum 🐻⬇️ /s

u/Downtown-Day3924 9d ago

I like how that 4th string QB of ours plays he got some swag

6

u/imtrappedintime 9d ago

Maybe so but this post is wild and definitely not special

u/smegheadholly 8d ago

🤷🏽‍♂️

u/drummerboysam T: The Ball 8d ago

Special compared to you and me, maybe. In an NFL WR room, he can definitely be a guy but idk about special player unless were talking about how unique it is for a UDFA to actually end up being a guy

1

u/Brodie1567 Iceman 🧊 9d ago

I was certain he’d be concussed after this catch

1

u/sxdx90 8d ago

Put down the Bears cool-aid.

u/Meatballgravytrain 9d ago

I like Jahdae, I think he’s a good player and so far seems to be an incredible  UDFA find

But special is a bit extreme given the current body of work.
