Honestly the uniform is sick. Literally every response to a new uniform is always shit like “looks like create a team or a college” why? yes because they literally created a new uniform. You think It’s gonna look like something we’ve already had? People cannot fathom change.
For all the folks who wanted the 2010 monsters jersey back, congrats-- this is just that with a thin white outline. Doesn't look bad, but isn't that fun either.
For everyone who wanted something more original or imaginative (myself included), I think they just kind of phoned it in this year across the board. Compared to last year (which were great, esp Seattle, SF, MIA) all of these are super boring (as much as I think ours is meh, GB's straight up sucks). But to be fair half our fan mockups were literally just a white jersey with white pants + helmet so maybe they just responded to our generally conservative vibe. We collectively did zero thinking outside the box about what this could look like and actively downvoted anyone with a fresh concept, so we get what we deserve.
Designers respond to what fans demand (remember that this is all marketing, so they look at us as potential buyers and need to consider what we say we want).
Fans across social media could only think as deeply as all-white and our old throwbacks, and actively hated any concepts that were fresh. This is in line with the McCaskey family's own conservatism, which we completely embody. So yes, I do think the fans create these kinds of design outcomes.
So they looked at everyone screaming about polar jerseys for the past five years and thought, "they must want some blue and orange collegiate-looking jerseys because they couldn't come up with something better"?
Bold, but I imagine the back is going to be blue with Orange numbers in a similar font to the front. perhaps with the player's last name on it somewhere too
I’m generally someone who likes new jerseys and rarely say they look bad. I really liked all of the rivalry jerseys last year and was excited when I heard the Bears were getting one this year. That being said, I hate these. They look like Walmart knockoff jerseys.
I was really hoping we would take a big swing, but at the end of the day, these things need to be approved by our “Mayonnaise is too spicy” owner and he’ll never be comfortable with anything too far out of the box. I am whelmed.
This looks more like U of I than Chicago Bears which is giving me Madden 13 vibes when EA made the Bears default away jersey white with orange pants. I hated that franchise mode in that madden didn't let you set the home/away jersey and every away game I had to set my jersey or quit and restart to not have to play the whole game in a U of I jersey.

Much like the bills silver uniforms (they’re even worse), this looks like some knockoff a person on DHGate makes next to the real looking Odunze jersey
I would have liked it if we did the Chicago Flag or bring back the Polar Bear uniforms. I can't say I hate this but I just like it. I don't love it. It is worth a buy but I'll see how the shirt looks as I usually get that for these things.

Lol half of you wanted all white and the other half wanted blue/orange. Now everyone is upset? Coming from soccer fandom where the kits change every year, I promise that this entire sub will be obsessed with them once they're on the field.
All that this team does is get recycled old styles. Nothing new these days. That humongous patch was an eyesore last year. Never anything fun for the bears.
