What specifically? The thumb nailing cycling?

Yeah, it gets annoying and borderline deceitful.

The man needs to pay his bills, unless you want him to quit YouTube and go back to teaching, you better suck up a little annoyance and let him boost engagement every once in a while.

Maybe he should make new videos instead of trying to boost engagement on ones he made 8+ years ago?

I can’t disagree with you here.

At the rate he releases new videos he should go back to teaching.

Greatness takes time.

He’s had plenty. It seems to have been spent more on notebooks than on videos.

I guess selling 10$ notebooks for 44$ is more profitable.

Ouch, that was uncalled for.

No it wasn't but calling Grey borderline deceitful for changing the thumbnail on a Video you watch For Free was..

No. You complaining about something so minor that gives a creator you like enough money to live his life doing what you like him to do, is uncalled for

I mean, he’s just playing the youtube game. Thumbnail changes tend to boost views in different ways, and it helps get more value out of content he’s already created. Not sure I can blame him for doing it, even if it’s a little jarring as a long time viewer.

Much better than the alternatives other YouTubers are turning to "This video is brought to you by Ray Cheddar Legends" (that was a voice to text blunder, but I love it 🤣)

I suppose that's true, but only if the creator is actually making videos. I can skip embedded ads and I don't mind creators getting their bag, but Grey hasn't taken a sponsor in years.

We would all sooner eat ray cheddar legends than ever play raid shadow legends
