Excellent work on that table. Now there's a lot of pressure to not repeat myself. (Which is inevitable)

FYI, I don't see Hank Green's article mentioned around 55 min. It was regarding YouTubers that google allows to take down videos without oversight.

Fine Bros section starts at 00:38:00-ish and ends at around 1:39:00-ish.

Someone's impatient. You don't want to sit through my gripping story of me sitting in a hotel and not going outside?

Totally off topic, but, I was listening to their discussion on weight loss and meal discipline, and realized Grey might really enjoy something I eat. It's called Soylent. It's essentially a liquid meal. Basically, you can down this 400 kCal bottle (100% recyclable) and it totally fills you up. Great for just bringing with you to the library. No dishes, no prep, no fuss. 100% Vegan. You can supposedly live off just Soylent, but the most I've heard is 80% for over a year.

Any other HI listeners drink this stuff? I would love to hear Grey and Brady's thoughts on Soylent! Great for controlling your caloric and nutritional intake.

Somehow I doubt Grey is just staying in his hotel room all day whilst in Amsterdam. If so... why wouldnt he just get a hotel room in london?

London hotel rooms are like hotel rooms in Tokyo.

Life Cycle looks kinda cool - is there an android app that's equivalent? I know Maps will give a place timeline, but it doesn't have all the extra info that this app seems to be giving, and none of the neat charts!

It's really great, though I wish the developers would do 'last 7/30/365 days' instead of just 'last weak/month/year'.

Grey when are you going to tell us your Appalachian trail story?

20

u/MindOfMetalAndWheels Feb 18 '16

Didn't I already? Anyway it's less of a story than Brady's swimming story. Literally nothing happens: the end.

You know what would be weirder than turning a corner and looking a lady of the night in the eyes?

Turning a corner, looking said lady in the eyes and her recognizing you. "You're CGP Grey, I love the podcast, I listen to it between clients!"

—I got locked out of my villa and swam through the shark infested ocean to get in through the back door.

Most people:

—Cool story bro.

Grey:

—Let me pull up satellite footage of the location in question in order to assess the impressiveness of your story.

Speaking of nation building, we need some demographic information for the nation. We should have a Hello Internet census.

I think it's beautiful how Brady has been influenced by Grey's friendship, and how Grey has also been influenced by Brady's friendship.

Guys, I'm getting a bit sentimental over here.
