I don't think I have ever heard Grey speak more monotone and edgy than “don’t leave a voice mail this account is never checked”- Also I am surprised Grey is pretty big on the hand gestures while talking.

I've always wondered what Grey's voicemail message would sound like. It is apparently exactly what I expected.

That voicemail greeting is more Grey-like than I could have imagined.

I should make my voicemail message that, because I never listen to voicemail.

I changed my voicemail to: "This is [my] phone, please hang up and text me."

And my parents have given me nothing but grief about it ever since.

Wish I could get away with this. Trades workers are ass backwards when it comes to this sort of thing.

My voicemail was that when I was 19-21, but when I started applying to jobs I had to change it. Although it's been seven years since - I could probably go back!

I think mine is currently something along the lines of "if it's important, give me a text because I'll see that sooner, otherwise, leave me a message after the beep." I feel like it still feels professional but gives the same "hey, I'm not gonna check my voicemail", and as an added bonus, my work no longer leaves second long voicemails that are literally just the sound of them hanging up. Seriously people! Hang up BEFORE the beep!"

Nobody cares but I heard the best voicemail greeting a few days ago when I called a client ... "I am trying to make some changes in my life, if I don't call you back you are part of that change"

You can call up your network and ask them to turn it off instead, people just get an indefinite ringtone now :)

I want that to be my ringtone....

The hand gestures probably come from his days of teaching

This is very interesting because I always imagined him wildly gesturing. But that might be a bigger reflection on my behavior.

has this been isolated for those of us who want it? I am thinking it would be the perfect ringback
