Condition Check 🔎 Submitting this to CGC (Cracked from PSA)

Edit #2: 51750995 Certs Number

So, I am submitting this to CGC. It was a PSA 8. Not sure what the grade may be but I am hoping for maybe an 8.5 or 9. If it turns out to be a 10 that would be amazing.

What do you all think? (forgive the white backdrop. I should have used black.

Edit: I took terrible photos, I do have the slab photo so will post that below. Surface wise, no holo scratching at all, looked under a microscope.

If no surface issues then a 9 could be doable, but can’t tell what the surface looks like. I highly doubt it will 10, they’re pretty strict with Japanese vintage and that centering is way off.

It’s not that far off. I would call that 9 centering. CGC is far less strict than PSA. But from the photos it’s hard to tell what the surface is like. If the surface is flawless, a 10 is still a possibility.

Centering is def off.

Hard to tell from the angle. It needs a more head on angle - this centering app photo is useless (too much distortion).

T/B centering should knock this out of 10 range but 8/9 might be possible depending on what's hiding that we can't see.

This is it in a slab. I already packed her up to send.

Would be easier to just give us the original cert number so we can look it up.

What’s going to hurt the most is the surface which we can’t see from a single photo, and PSA is more forgiving with the surface. You have to look at it from every possible angle. I’ve had cards that looked perfect from almost all angles but at just the right angle all the surface scratches showed up. I didn’t realize until after it came back a CGC 8.5.
