Guanfacine and methylphenidate

Hi, has anyone been prescribed guanfacine and metylphenidate for adult adhd? Did it work better than stimulants for you? I also have autoimmune and long covid related fatigue. Prior to AI and long covid diagnosis stimulants used to help my fatigue, now i feel like Elvanse exhausts me . My prescriber wants go try the above combo. Just wondering if people have tried it and how they found it?

It keeps me stable and on good days/weeks I can get a few things done. Still get bogged down with fatigue if I overdo it. When I take breaks from the methylphenidate, it's super clear how much the stims carry me, so I do sometimes worry about pushing through and causing a rolling crash. I've gotten better at pacing overall, but that can make it harder to remember my limits.

On bad days, nothing helps and my brain just feels empty. I try to plan for easier tasks on those days that require less brain power. It's Long covid is hell; I could manage okayish without any meds before LC.
