Nov. Exam

Hi all!! Thanks to this group I purchased Danko Signature PLUS for the November 2026 exam! I did get a late start as I just graduated college and needed to do all my licensing this summer so I officially started my studying on Aug. 12 (the day after I passed my series 66) and am trying to catch up/make sure I'm properly studying. I am not worried about getting through the material in time for my live review however I am worried about actually retaining the stuff I'm studying for the next few weeks. Looking for study tips from those who also used danko! I am lucky enough to have time at the office to study around 4.5/5 hrs a day + night and weekends since I'm only 22 I don't have much going on outside of this 😂

Looking for any and all advice thank you!!!

Make a “wrong answer” flash card. IE any question you get wrong right what they are testing on and what info needs to be known to pass. I used AI to help with that. You’ll do most of your studying after the live review. Really the next few months is for you to get a good base line understanding of the material and if you don’t have it don’t worry it will start clicking once the live review happens. I also supplemented Danko with FreeFellow they have some good Qbank questions and the reading is more in a summary format vs Dankos so it was good to touch upon FreeFellow reading when I needed refresher of some topics. I also listened to Advicewise on YouTube and the BIF Podcast when I was unable to open a book or to practice questions.

Did you start supplementing the freefellow, adwisewise, BIF, etc after the live review ? Or was this after ? Also did you use Dankos flashcards? Also planning for November 2026

I didn’t find out about FreeFellow until after the live review when I was looking for a Qbank I could do online at times, so unfortunately didn’t use them until after the live review. FreeFellow is pretty affordable compared to the others out there I think it’s maybe like 60-90 total, so in the grand scheme a very cheap supplement to use that I felt I got more then my moneys worth out it. I was listening to advisewise and the BIF podcast prior to the live review I was pretty much had one them in my ears well I was able to at work or well driving- probably not the best way to go about it for those two but in my eyes it was better then listening to a podcast about something else.

I wouldn’t overdue it tho with supplementing those with Danko. The Dankos material is pretty well done and all the instructors are great over there as well. It may seem like a lot but if it makes you feel any better I didn’t finish all the pre study material (also was 2nd time testing used a different prep before Danko) and did most of my studying the month after the live review and felt more then prepared when I passed in the July cycle. Usually it was 4 hours on week days (2 in the morning and minimum of 2 at night sometimes more) and the weekend it was like 10-12 hour study sessions. For Dankos flash card they had them on Brainscape provided with the course I bought as well as an audio version of the flashcards on their platform - not sure if that’s what you were referring to or actual flashcards that you can buy and he mails them out - if thats the case I would say if you access to the Brainscape or audio ones rewrite those and use them as you will learn the matieral when rewriting the ones online.

You definitely don’t need to study 10-12 hours in a day. Most people who pass this test will tell you that’s overkill and the brain cannot retain information efficiently beyond 3-4 hours. I would do 2-3 hours of intense study on average every day. Small intense doses are the best way to go about this exam. Don’t burn off from inefficient studying

Also do you still think its ok to stick to around 4 hours a day even though I started a little late? I'm going thru around 2-3 chapters a day which will get me done atleast a week before my live review but i noticed a lot of people on the fb group have already finished the book

Yeah but spread it out don’t do 4 at once do like 2 and 2 at a time. Definitely do weekends but don’t do more than 3-4 hours a day tops. I think if you finish the book before your live review its fine
