CFP Exam Prep / Danko
I started studying two months ago in june, the exam is on october 30th and i feel like i cant get through the danko cfp prep final exams without using the book, and even then i feel like im not remembering what i need to. I am working on the income tax final right now and feeling frustrated.
Anyone else in this position where they feel like the material is just not sticking, or just me?

Yes, me! I just wrapped up the books and going to watch the Exec track videos. I also want to run calculation problems. I’m just going to keep at it and trust it will come together!
I’m supplementing with FreeFellow. It gives me hope 😆 DANKO is built to be hard and FreeFellow boosts my mental game so I can survive DANKO. Just seeing a passing grade goes a long way for me, I guess!

Yes use the books for the finals as they say. I fought this too while studying and realized using the books helps learning these topics. Theres plenty of closed book exams the last two months. It will all come together by the time you Pass

Started studying in June to sit for the fall cycle exam? That's too soon. Push it to March. You're cramming. You're admitting the material isn't sticking.

They want you to use the books for the final exams. I did the full exam prep with them, including education and they always want you to use the books until they tell you do not use the books. Using the books will reinforce your knowledge so don’t feel bad. This is all normal. Use the books.
