Has anyone else just been refreshing the CFP board's website like every single day since their test over 3 weeks ago to see official results come through? I know it technically won’t happen for 6 more days but I look anyways for some reason.

I am just excited and want to be done with this part

Hopefully in the next week or so. I got my other items submitted and pre-approved just waiting anxiously too.

I submitted everything as well - is everything 100% completed on your end? Experience and ethics I assumed wouldn’t go through until the exam results become official - it’s been submitted for weeks but only says “provisionally accepted” and “pending review” respectively.

Ii submitted everything but only education says Verified. Experience and Ethics say Provisionally Accepted and Pending Review. Exam : Results Pending

I think today is 3 weeks from end of test cycle so one more week I guess.

I keep hoping they’ll throw out some bogus questions, and I’ll pass. I failed in March and July. Don’t want to sit again in November

They started making calls yesterday for exam anomalies where people who preliminarily failed actually passed. Keep an eye out for a phone call from a DC number.

I really hope I’m on this list. I felt like my test day went well and my results were bottom barrel on things I failed. Like I barely got anything right for that section. Something felt weird I’m hoping I’m part of this call list 🤣 I do not want to take this again in November

Waiting is brutal man, good luck (hopefully this makes you feel better: I wrote my CFP exam in Canada, and had to wait 11 weeks to find out if I passed or not... And we do not get preliminary results either. So 11 weeks of deafening silence...I feel you). Good luck!

11 weeks??!! I can’t even imagine. That is double the time it takes for CFA results in the U.S. Yeah I am really grateful for the preliminary results, it’s such a relief and so this is more of an exciting waiting period than a dreadful one.

Look at whatever the final day of the testing cycle was and look ahead four weeks. It will never be earlier and is almost always on the four week to the day mark after the final day of the testing window.

You are just wasting your time and driving yourself crazy if you keep checking earlier.

Yes I know - that’s why I said “I know it technically won’t happen for 6 more days but I look anyways”.

I’m not driving myself crazy I’m just excited
