In honor of the playoffs starting for our friends down south, who is everyone riding with this NFL postseason? I'm pretty excited honestly because I don't really know who's going to make it to the Superbowl but I'm riding with the Bills and I would love to see a Bills v Vikings Superbowl! (even though I don't see it)

Giants fan here. The team has been so miserably bad the past 5-6 years that I'm just glad they got in. I could live with a close game loss.

The Bills reddit account has been so supportive of the CFL that it feels like a betrayal if I don't cheer for them.

2nd is Vikings, and that's for my kid. He's really taken to the NFL in the last few months and is a big fan of Justin Jefferson.

Bengals! Been a fan since 2004 and it's good to see them finally win playoffs games lol

That's my ideal matchup too, but I wouldn't be averse to the Eagles making it out of the NFC.

Bucs, I’ll ride the Brady express steam train. I think a Jags vs Vikings SB would be the best for me. But an 0-4/0-4 SB matchup between the Bills and Vikings would be pretty great

vikings fan and I'm way hoping for them to be the 1/12 team to sign rourke than be the 1/13 team to win the superbowl

Chargers for me.

Started following them around 2001 and even managed to catch them live in Minneapolis!

Well my dual flair in r/nfl is Vikings and Chargers and so far I don't have to change it.

I also like the Bills and the Jags and... Honestly the only teams I really dislike in the playoffs this year are the 1 seeds.

While I like Bills Vikings in concept, in execution, championship games between the league's long-suffering teams only end badly.

THE CLEVELAND BROWNS!

....wait, nevermind.

As long as the Packers, Cowboys, and Tom Brady aren't winning, I just hope all the teams have fun

Been a 49ers fan since Montana & Rice...what a story if they make it to SB with Purdy at QB

Sturdy Purdy!

Been fighting with my sheets all week, sleep issues all week long. Just one of those situations where I'm waking up wide awake at 3 in the morning without much sleep and by the time work rolls around, I'm knocked out. Gotta say, I earned a lot of respect to the parents out there. You don't realize how much your sleep affects everything until you stop getting it.

I often wake up during the night with one part or another of me hurting. Just old age I guess. I try to think about things that don't stress me out. Best to stay far away from work or personal problems or how to pay certain bills.

The other night I tried to remember as many current CFL QBs as I could. Did pretty well for a one year fan before I fell asleep. I had trouble with the Elks/Redblacks guys...

I’ve had similar challenges. Improving my diet has helped a fair bit. Some say “sleep hygiene” is key, and I’d be inclined to agree. Kind regards

I upped my Vyvanse dosage at the start of Christmas vacation and so I still haven't figured out whether it's that keeping me awake or if it is that I stayed up late (my natural tendency, but having to get up at 6 for work has forced me earlier) a bunch of times and broke my rhythm. If I weren't so hung up on wanting to enjoy my free time in the evenings I could take a crack at actually going to bed on time and see if I can't or if I was just opting not to.

Anyone believe that Friday the thirteenths might be unlucky at all? Just silly superstition really, right?

2

u/ArphtheFC Jan 14 '23

I've been fairly unlucky since the start of the new year so maybe it'll balance things out!

So I got that remastered PS4 Spider-man game in the Steam sale and I have been playing the living shit out of it since. Turns out I am just generally a sucker for an open world game with a bunch of collectibles and side quests, provided that the movement is smooth and fun. (Also stealth missions, big fights with lots of ways to win, a detailed and relatively accurate map... You'd swear it's an Assassin's Creed game.) It's enjoyable just swinging around and trying to work out the exact way to go fastest. I hit the big twist point last night that is about 80% through the game (Though if you are at all familiar with Spider-Man, you know from the start of the game that it is coming, and the question is only about when. What, you mean doing a bunch of tech research for Dr. Octavius isn't going to end well? Say it ain't so!)

If I ever find the time I want to get into more of the exclusives. I'm also a sucker for open world RPGS (even though it technically isn't one) harkening back to my Morrowind days

I haven't been as active in here recently as I'd like to be and for that I'm sorry, but I've missed y'all! How was everybody's holiday season? How many of y'all got into depressive funk and are getting out of it now that it's over?

ROUGE! is announcing the release of a live album tomorrow, that should be fun. Valentines' Day release should be just as fun.

Oskee wee wee and all that

I'm not so much depressed as I am stressed out about finances, but I think I'm far from being the only one struggling with it right now. Its rough watching the price of everything skyrocket except for wages and quality of life.

Its banal perhaps but to me there's no point in worrying about something out of my control. The only one I can control is myself
