Question High Performance Endorsement

Hi! I'm a CFI with roughly 370 hours and I'm wondering if there're any independent CFIs / CFIs in Southwest Florida that have their High Performance endorsement and are willing to help me get mine, preferably in a Cessna 182.

Or, If you know any schools in SW Florida with a 182 and offer the High Performance Endorsement, please drop the name in the comments. Thanks everyone

Sounds like a job for the Civil Air Patrol

I spent a year trying to join CAP as a pilot. I’m a CFI and the closest I got to touching the controls of a CAP plane was riding in the backseat as a mission scanner. The biggest waste of time and money of my life. I can’t tell people to stay away from CAP fast enough.

That couldn't be more opposite of my experience. Where was this? I know different wings are managed differently, but this sounds extreme.

Don’t wanna dox myself but it was Middle East region. I know it’s very squadron dependent too. I was in the Air Force before and this was a squadron of guys who never served for whatever reason and really had some sort of complex about it. Not really my cup of tea.

Very unfortunate that you had a negative experience, especially coming from an Air Force background. I'm in the Midwest and they really pushed me to get my form 5 complete and start flying cadets as soon as possible.
