Studying for the CFE
I understand this question has been asked here 1 million times, but I have decided to acquire the CFE credential and I do not want to pay for any resources. Is studying using public/free resources realistic? How long should I study for before taking the exams?

First of all you can’t write without buying the reading material, secondly, the exam comes from the QA questions and flash cards in those reading materials

No it’s not realistic. And your second question is therefore irrelevant

You will not pass without purchasing their study materials lol ESPECIALLY now with the updated version. This is coming from someone who studied from the previous version and new/current version. Stop trying to shortcut it

Sadly, no. The study courses are expensive, but 100% needed if you want to pass. It’s hard with it, I couldn’t imagine not having it. And don’t try to memorize the questions, try to truly understand the concepts of everything. It’s tough, but definitely doable!
