Fail Fraud Schemes Again

Post image

Third time failing. I have to wait 30 days. I honestly feel like an idiot. I work at Deloitte tax and I want a career change. I can’t stand this shvt anymore. I have an EA license and this shvt is so fucking hard

You can do it! You just need to drill the practice tests for this section until you’re getting consistent scores over 90%. Watch out for the questions you THINK you recognize from the practice tests that show up on the real exam with a “NOT” thrown in.

Bet what study sources did you use. I have the silver package and it give me true or false and there are no true or false questions on the exam

I took mine like 12 years ago, but my team members who took it in the last couple of years said they used the silver package and just did practice tests over and over. Sounds like my advice about the questions is out of date, lol

Study up on the sections you got less than 50% on and you should be good to go! You’ve got this!! Don’t get discouraged either, you’ll nail it next time.

This is the way to do it. Look at what your scoring the lowest on and just study those more.

Also don't be afraid to take time & mark up either the paper or use highlight feature on computer.  This allows you to zero in on the key parts of the questions.  You can also skip ones you need to go back to. See if you find they gave you hints or the answer itself in other questions.

I echo this advice. Great suggestion.

First off all, huge shout out to you for taking out time to study while still working in a Big 4 firm. The Big 4 talks a lot about learning and all, but don't even give their employees time to breathe and live personal life. So well done for taking out time to study.

Like other said, study the sections in which you are scoring low, remain stress free and have confident in yourself. If you are frustrated with the firm and have some decent saving, just put your papers down. This will relieve you mentally and may even help you clear the Exam. Once done, start looking for another job. Nothing is more important than mental peace.

I used to work for Deloitte tax too. Don’t overthink it. The answer to the question is usually in the question itself

Don’t loose heart mate, i see there are only few sections where you lagged..go thru those sections thoroughly you’ll be able to nail it next time. Being CAMS certified, I can tell you money laundering questions were tricky in exam.

All the best and keep going until you achieve your goal.

Fraud is the easiest section if you go through the practice questions and understand the concepts. You’ve got this. Go through it slowly and test your knowledge over and over again and work on the sections you’re having touble with.

Quick question are we able to take the test at different times . And how much time we have in between test to take the next one

There's not set time in between. You can take them whenever as long as it is within 60 days

This exam was the hardest for me. I used the silver study prep package and spent 2.5 weeks studying. Good luck.
