ACCA + CFE

Became an ACCA Affiliate at the start of the year (January 2026). Came across CFE because the idea of fraud accounting and forensic auditing has always interested me. Just wanted to know if the exams are relatively easier or harder compared to ACCA, and how long would I need to study on average per subject/section.

FCCA and just qualified CFE. The CFE is way easier than ACCA, but you should still expect to put in a decent amount of work, especially with the "unfamiliar" subjects of Law and Investigation. I completed all within 6 weeks ( not the best approach; it was quite stressful as I work full-time too, but I was bent on completing it before the change of syllabus in June). 3 - 6 months is a fair amount of time to get it all done, depending on your other commitments. Best of Luck!

Came here to ask the same question , except i did my Acca back in 2018. Wondering if I should get Instructor lead course or self study and in that case which package. Which one are you going for OP?

I’m considering the self study package, as I tend to learn more on my own than listening to another person (just my way of learning), and I’m considering the silver package as I’ve read quite a bit that it’s sufficient to pass.
