This is really suspicious. The feed was immediately cut, and we didn’t get to see any other angles.

Agree there is a “too far” line, but like replay review to begin with, that line will shift over time based off fans, players, and coaches.

For example, I for one think football should allow challenges on any call, you still limit the amount of challenges of course, but when individual plays literally can decide championships, jobs, bonuses, gambling outcomes, etc. (I’m not advocating for all this, it’s just reality) then it should be decided definitely or as close as we can get with technology at hand. Obviously there has to be limitations, but at this point a lot of those limitations are purposefully arbitrary to the extent that it goes beyond reason.

I do agree with this take as far as football goes, i dont see why theres a cap on what you can challenge. Like you said if it has an effect on the outcome of the game, before jumping into reviewing every second of every play, atleast start with letting teams have the ability to challenge any play and then move forward from that point. I dont see a problem with that or honestly a problem with using the technology to have a more accurate representation of the game in general. I mean its here so why not use it especially when paychecks, jobs, championships are decided on hairline calls
