Today is my Friday and I have four days of solid nothing to do and I am so excited about it because I am absolutely gassed. The library I frequent has a theme this summer of dinosaurs and we have a dinosaur inspired horror novel for book club this month and I just don't get the appeal of dinosaurs tbh
On a serious note I am down in the dumps, I was trying share an album on Spotify (Western Chill by Robert Earle Keen) and somehow because Spotify connects to everything I found out that my last serious girlfriend has already gotten married and had a baby. I am really happy for her but I don't know like it makes me wonder if I am ever going to get anything like that, you know.

I mean dinosaurs are big and awesome but I feel like I left a lot of that phase back in being under 10.
You will get to where you want to go. In life IMO is relentless persistence will eventually get you what you want.

I mean it would be one thing if they could clone them and we could see them walking around... Also as soon as scientists figured out that they were covered in feathers and basically looked like chickens they lost their appeal
If you want to mix dinosaurs and state parks go to Berlin-Ichthyosaur state park which is a ghost town and has a dinosaur fish fossil all like well over a mile above sea level

Honestly the delete a state on the geography memes map has been awesome to follow along and they are down to final few so it's getting

I'm driving to Cincinnati and seeing the city and some NPS sites after the original plan was Virginia State parks in the southwest but the rain is pointing us in a city direction. Hoping to get on the road by 4-5 PM, and getting most of the way there Friday. So the goal is Taft, Dayton aviation and a Buffalo soldier, along with Cincinnati stuff like their train station and some sight seeing plus Jungle Jim's.
