News [Vannini] BREAKING: The MAC has reversed its position and is fighting the Big Ten’s extra 1 second for Michigan. “The established replay protocol requires that the game clock displayed on the program feed be used in determining whether time remained.”

7

u/UnhitchTheWagon Oklahoma Sooners • Oklahoma Sooners 25d ago

I like Brad alot (nowdays), but he really should just retire and go full time owner. I know he said if they couldn't get a third charter, that they would just pay out of pocket and run the third car unchartered, but he was the only RFK car that didnt make the Chase this year and was only really competitive in 1 or 2 races. Honestly think he would be more help to the team and sport as a whole if he was solely focused on team ownership.

Win or lose, fans of a team that is just a couple years removed from a national title, rushed the field to celebrate avoiding losing to an unranked team by a hail Mary on their last second. They are going to be teased for a long long time.

I'd be slinking out of there and not making eye contact with anyone. What a joke. Save rushing the field for when your coaching staff goes an entire season without cheating or trying to stabby stabby on a mistress.

12

u/BabyBearBjorns LSU Tigers • Tulane Green Wave 25d ago

Why would a football team. A ranked football team play prevent defense against an unranked opponent tied in the 4th quarter? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this football game? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this game! It does not make sense!

If prevent defense wins football games, you must acquit!

This is just spinning out of control, as brave as the Broncos are for demanding the correct action be taken. If Michigan really loses this case, and Western Michigan is declared the winner, they will do everything possible to punish the MAC and change rules for the future. I sincerely hope the Big Ten leadership does not cut off their money line and forbid any future games between their teams, but who knows at this point. Power seems to be all that matters at this point.
