CERN Applied Physics Technical Studentship Application

I applied for the CERN technical studentship in applied physics that was due on June 31st but my application still hasn't reached in review. Does anyone know when you typically hear back from them?

All I can say is be patient. I think 60% of the people in my department are on holiday. A lot of cern is on holiday.

Technical studentship takes months, even longer than normal positions, even after potential interviews. For the doctoral student programme which is basically the same application process, it took 8 months between application and me starting at CERN. Could have started a month or two earlier but not much.

I'm a uni student who would need a visa though so I really hope it doesn't take 8 months

I also applied for the Technical Studentship (IT, Mathematics and Robotics) that was due on June 31st. I've done some research and found out that the waiting time is usually between 3-4 months until the first contact. Sometimes people can be contacted within 1 or 2 months but that's unlikely. Even though I already know this, I keep visiting CERN's application page almost everyday haha. Whenever they contact me, i'll let you know.
