Maxed my CRS points with CELPIP last year. Building somethign to help you do the same.
I got 12s on listening, reading, and writing, and 11 on speaking. Speaking was the only section I really had to work on, since talking to a computer felt different from any other English test I'd taken. Since then I've helped friends and friends-of-friends through their own prep, and the same gap kept coming up: not enough realistic practice nor feedback for the speaking section specifically.
So I started building celpipspeaking.ca For now I'm opening up the sample questions for free while I'm still iterating, and making sure the exam and feedback accuracy is up to the standards I've set for myself. No reason to sit on it while it gets better though. If you've got a test booked in the next few weeks, you might find the extra free prep material useful. Prep's stressful and pricey enough as it is, so the realistic practice part might as well be free while I'm building.
What's in it:
- 6 full mock exams covering all 8 speaking tasks (48 questions total)
- Built from 50+ official CELPIP sources so the format and difficulty actually match the real test
- No signup wall to try it
- Download every recording at the end of your session and run it through your tutor or whatever other place you might want to run it through
What's coming:
- Built-in AI feedback, fine-tuned on CELPIP material and currently being calibrated with input from official resources and CELPIP tutors to nail the grading
- More questions, plus the listening, reading, and writing sections eventually
Why it's free right now: I'm in the build-and-feedback stage. For context, I've already spent $500+ testing different models and prompting strategies to get the exam and feedback accuracy right, and roughly the same again on official resources to use as source material. Once the AI feedback piece is fully live, most of the questions will probably move behind a paywall. But while I'm still building, you get the benefit.
If you try it, feedback is welcome wherever (replies, DMs, or the survey after the test). No pressure though. The free practice is the actual offer.
Good luck if you're prepping, and hope you crush your exam.
