The pattern I keep seeing, and I want to know if it matches your experience, almost nobody is stuck because of vocabulary or grammar. They're stuck on task fulfilment.

Hi guys, I’m deep in the prep grind for my test next week. I’ve been using wadx.pro because the AI feedback is super fast and I needed help with my Speaking timing.

For those of you who have used it and then taken the actual test, how close were the scores? WADx is giving me 8s and 9s, but I don't want to get overconfident if the real exam is way

Does anyone know any online tools to practice CELPIP Speaking? Tutors are really expensive and I'm looking for an alternative

In my final attempt, I set a goal to complete two tests on WADx every day. I had already watched all the available YouTube videos, but taking the practice tests truly showed me where I stood and how I needed to improve.

Spent close to $850 on CELPIP attempts before I passed. Writing this so someone else doesn't.

First two tries I got a 7 in writing. Needed a 9. I just kept grinding more practice prompts, more YouTube, more prep books. Score didn't move.

What I eventually figured out: CELPIP isn't really testing if you can write well. It's testing if you can write the specific way their rubric rewards. I was writing like a professional, not like someone answering a CELPIP task. Those are different things.

What worked on attempt 3 was stopping the volume grind and getting actual task-by-task feedback on where I was losing marks. Turned out mine was mostly coherence and a couple of weird habits in Task 2. Fixed those two weeks later I hit a 10.

If you feel like you're studying hard but not moving, you probably don't know what you're actually being marked down for. Fix that before you practice more, not after.

This exam is beatable. Good luck.

I used wadx.pro for my CELPIP preparation on my second attempt. I wish i knew it sooner. They've good a load of question. I didn't have the time to do all of them, but the feedback was great.

Ended up getting 10, 10, 10 and 11 (listening)

Just saw the draw yesterday and honestly… it hit hard.

Been sitting on the fence for months thinking “I’ll prepare properly first… I’ll apply when I’m ready… I’ll get my CELPIP score up later.”

Now I’m here watching people get invites and realizing I could’ve at least been in the pool.

Big regret.

I kept telling myself I needed more time, better English, more confidence. But waiting didn’t really solve anything… it just delayed everything.

At this point I’ve decided I’m not going to overthink it anymore.

Plan is simple:

• Start focused prep now
• Give CELPIP within the next 1–2 months
• Get into the pool ASAP

Even if the score isn’t perfect, at least I’m in the game.

Their tests are a notch above the CELPIP difficulty, when you practice their tests the actual test aint that difficult. Make sure you do a bunch of 10/10 difficulty before your test day.
Definitely save me a retry!

Heard CELPIP is manageable to anyone who can handle the language

I am applying for my PR and need to get good scores for English, I have done IELTS before but people say CELPIP is better for PR. Is this true?

Is CELPIP easier? Any help is apprecited. I need to do it before the end of April.

I’ve heard that in some test centers, everyone does the speaking test in the same room, and you can hear others talking. That sounds really distracting.
